Quinton's POV

I watch as my mate smiles when my parents show him my baby pictures.

It has been about two weeks, since I got to know that Reggie's beating his kids.

Raven tried to tell me that he got the bruise form a fight with one of his friends, but he quickly saw that I wasn't convinced at all.

The he told me that it was made by Reggie, but he tried to assure me that it was an accident, and that Reggie was trying to catch him when he was about to fall from the stairs.

But I could see through those lies, and I already know that Reggie's abusing his kids.

I also lifted Raven's shirt to see if he has any other bruises, because I wanted to know how bad it was, but I found only one, it was fresh and pretty small.

So, I guess that it gives me time to think if I should confront Reggie, or if I should tell papa about it.

The only think that is stopping me from telling this to papa is the fact that I know that he will take Reggie's kids form him.

I'm sure that he wasn't kidding when he told Reggie this a few years ago.

And I don't want Reggie and possibly even his kids to hate me, especially because they would have to live here, if papa took them away from their fathers.

And I doubt that I will be leaving this house anytime soon, so it would be difficult for all of us.

That's why I think that I should tell this to Joseph, who's my eldest brother's mate.

This way I will be sure that someone will constantly check if Reggie's kids are alright, but papa won't take them away.

I would have preferred to talk with Reggie alone, but I'm a bit scared that he will get angry, and I definitely don't want him to hit my bump in his anger.

I look at my mate when I hear that he's laughing at something, and I roll my eyes when I see that he's still looking at the pictures, while dad tells him some story.

I wait for my parents to leave us alone in the living room, and then I ask Leif to come with me to the pack house.

He frowns, but he agrees, so we make our way there, and I tell him what I'm planning to do.

He agrees that it's the best option and that assures me that I'm doing the right thing, so we walk inside of the pack house, and we go towards the stairs.

When we reach the office, I knock on the door, and Joseph tells me to walk inside, so I do it, and Leif follows me.

Denver isn't here which is good, so I sit on the chair, which is in front of Joseph's desk, and I look at him.

I tell him everything that I learned when I went to Reggie's house, and what I would like him to do, then he agrees to make sure that the kids will be fine, so I thank him, before Leif and I go back to he house.
