Leif's POV

It had been almost a months since I told Denver what I think about his stupid laws.

And I hate to admit that I still didn't make Denver and Joseph change their minds.

It also disappoints me that my mate doesn't want to do anything about it, and he's alright with the fact they our kid will have to watch as his brothers will be going to the city, while he will be locked inside of the pack lands for a lot longer than them.

I have considered if I should take all of my kids out of there, before they will know that they're werewolves.

After all they won't shift until they will be teenagers, so they won't know anything about it, and no one will have to worry about them telling the secret to anyone.

But I'm sure that my mate won't agree to go away from the pack, which makes me frustrated.

We just had another argument over this, and now I'm walking through the pack lands, hoping to get rid of the anger that I'm currently feeling.

I'm not even sure where in going, which isn't very smart, because I will have to go back, and it will be hard if I won't know where to go.

I also have Hank with me, because I really don't want to leave him with Quinton after we argue about his future.

I also don't really want Quinton to take care of him, and I'm sure that he noticed that, because I pick Hank up before he can even reach him, and I barely let Quinton hold him.

I don't think that Hank minds it at all, but I'm sure that Quinton does, although not enough to help me convince Denver to change the laws.

I'm brought out of my thoughts when I hear someone calling me, so I turn around, and I see that it's Haven and Jake.

I decide to wait on then, and it only takes them a few seconds to come here.

"Hi." I greet them.

"Hey, why at you so angry?" Jake asks, and I tell him about everything.

I have seen Haven and Jake a lot of times since Haven moved here, and I can say that they're my best friends.

I also got to know that Jake's pregnant, and they will have a kid not much after Quinton and I will do.

Which is great, because their kid will be the same age as my kids.

Sadly, they don't have any good advice to my situation, so they don't make me feel any better about it.

But they spend a few hours with me,  then they walk me back to the house, and we say our goodbyes, before I walk inside of the house, and they go to their apartment, which is in the pack house.

I don't bother greeting Quinton's parents, since they're against me too.

I just take Hank upstairs, and I lay down on the bed, with him still in my arms.
