Leif's POV

I sit in the living room, while I feed my kids, and I wait for Quinton's to come back from the pack house.

He went there to see his friend again, Quinton's already introduced us to each other, but I'm not really interested in being friends with him, so I told Quinton to go there alone.

I'm more than happy to say here with our kids, even though they literally don't do anything that could entertain me.

As long as throwing up all over my shirt isn't considered entertaining.

I hear the front door open, which makes me frown a bit, because I really didn't expect anyone to be back this soon.

So, I wait to see who's here, and I'm surprised when I see one of Tyler's kids, I think that he's the eldest one.

"Hi." I say.

"Hi." He responds, but he seems angry at something.

"Who annoyed you?" I ask him.

"Dad, he told me that I won't be going to the high school, because it's against the pack laws." He tells me.

"I'm sure that he will change his mind, you're not even a teenager, so he has a lot of time." I say, but he just shakes his head.

"I don't think so, I was hoping that Denver will let his kids go to high school, but Ray, Rey and Roy didn't manage to convince him to let them go, so I won't be going either." I ask him.

"Why not?" I ask, now fully focused on this conversation.

"Because we're Omegas, and Omegas aren't allowed to go outside of the pack lands, before they will meet their mate, and they have to be over twenty five to take us out of the pack house." He explains, which makes me frown.

"I didn't hear about this before." I tell him.

"Yeah, that's the main reason that Oliver took Alex away from here." He tells me, and I nod.

I think that I will start to like Oliver now, I didn't know that my kid will be a prisoner here for a lot of their life, and I definitely won't allow for this to happen.

"And what about the normal ranked wolves?" I ask him curiously.

"They have to stay here until they're sixteen, to make sure that they will know to not say anything about werewolves to humans, but then they have to go to high school, and they can go out of the pack lands if they want." He explains.

"Well, I will make sure that Denver and Joseph will know my opinion about it, and I'm quite persistent, so I will try my best to make sure that you and any other Omega in this back won't be a prisoner here." I promise him.

And I will make sure to keep this promise, if not for him, then for my kid, because I won't allow for him to be upset about this in the future.

"I don't think that you will manage to convince Denver to change his mind, but I will be grateful if you will try." He says with a smile, before he stands up, and he leaves the house, now in slightly better mood than he was when he came here.
