Leif's POV

We're still sitting in the living room, when we hear an alarm, everyone starts to panic, so I look at Quinton with a frown, wanting him to tell me what's going on.

He stands up, and he extends his hand to me, so I take our kids, and then I take his hand, before I follow him to the basement.

Most of the family comes here's too, while the other ones went out of the house.

I still have no idea what's going on, which scares me slightly.

We sit in one of the corners of the almost empty basement, and I look at the door, which are being locked by some of Quinton's brothers.

"What's going on?" I ask.

"Someone's attacking the pack, most likely rogues. So, we will have to stay here for a few hours, until papa will tell us to get out." He explains, and I nod in acknowledgement.

"Is this very serious?" I ask, trying to see if I should be scared or not.

"Maybe, but it happened a few times before, and it wasn't that bad. As I said it's most likely rogues, because they're set on making our lives difficult." He explains, so I decide that it's not that serious.

A few minutes later, I can hear that someone's in the house, even though I don't have the werewolf hearing, so I'm a bit sacred.

It seems that they're breaking things, and by the look on everyone's face I guess that it never happened before.

We sit here quietly, and I'm very happy that the kids are quiet, although I really doubt the someone could get into this room, seeing that the whole door is covered in locks of all kinds.

I hug one of my sons tightly, and I wait for the sound to stop.

It takes a few minutes until I hear that someone else enters the house and then threes a whine of pain, most likely coming for someone who's in the wolf form.

After a few hours, we hear that someone coming here, so I tense, but everyone else seems to be happy.

Soon we hear Carter's voice, telling us to open the door, so Eliott does it happily, with some help from Scott, and then Carter tells us that everything's fine now, and then we can go out.

So, all of us go to the living room, and we decide to stay here until it will be light outside, because it's already an early morning, and it would be quite dangerous to go outside after an attack, even though the pack lands were checked a lot of times, to make sure that no one is hiding here.

Carter tells us that it were rogues, and that they were wild, but one managed to come inside of the house somehow, and he hit one of the shelves that was hanging on the wall in the living room.

And that's what made the noise that we heard, when we were still in the basement.
