Grayson
It was almost an hour before Jameson and Xander came back. By that point Grayson had almost finished his book. As they walked into the room, he noticed that Jameson was wearing his signature smirk. Oh great, Grayson thought, I am going to hear all about how he won.
To his surprise, Jameson didn't gloat.
"So," he said, sure of the answer to the question he was going to ask, "did you manage to convince Nash to play?"
Both smiled mischievously. "We did." Jameson answered. "And because you lost, we are going to play not just bowling, but also strip bowling."
Of course, Jameson was going to make him pay for losing. Strip bowling wasn't really a favorite of his. His brothers liked it though.
"Ready?" Jameson prompted.
No. Grayson thought, but I will do it. He rose from the couch. "Shall we go?" he said.
The three of them walked out of the room to meet Nash in the bowling room.
The bowling room consisted of four alleys, and several chairs for sitting in near the front. Nash was already there.
"Thanks for volunteering me Gray." he said sarcasm lacing his words.
"You could have said no. Actually, I wish you had." He would have enjoyed a quiet afternoon, but now he was playing another game. Strip bowling of all things.
"Well, our brothers didn't give me much of choice. It was bowling or annoying me for the rest of the day. I would rather take the latter."
Of course, Grayson thought belatedly, Jameson threatened Nash. That's what he does to get what he wants.
"Well, let's get this party started." Xander stated, ready to begin.
Nash went first. They would do regular bowling first, then strip bowling. He scored a strike his first try. Grayson went next. He also scored a strike. Then Jameson went, then Xander. Both managed to get all the pins down, but it took two tries. Going in that order, they continued to play for forty minutes and ten rounds. In the end, with total of 246 points, Xander won. Nash and Grayson were tied with 230 points, and Jameson came in last with 220 points.
"Now," Jameson said, his eyes twinkling with anticipation, "time for the fun part."
Strip bowling was the opposite of regular bowling. Instead of trying to knock down the most pins, you tried to knock over the least, and the ball couldn't go into the gutter. If it did, you lost an article of clothing.
They went in the same order as last time. Nash wasn't that great in strip bowling as he was in regular bowling. He lost his right shoe his first try. Grayson also lost. He took of his left shoe. Jameson, surprisingly, didn't lose his first try, and neither did Xander. Their luck was about to change.
By the time they finished their game, Jameson and Xander were down to their underwear, and Nash and Grayson were very close to being in theirs's as well. Nash had just his pants left, and Grayson had his pants and belt left. He won. And because he won the game, he got to go back and finish his book without any interruptions.
After putting his clothes back on, Nash escaped to hide from the two younger boys before they came up with another idea. Jameson and Xander, still in their underwear, decided to play another round of bowling. But this time the goal was to try to knock down the least number of pins to get your clothes back on.
Leaving them alone, Grayson made it back to the library. Curling up on the sofa, he picked up his book and began to read. He sighed. Quiet al last. (It would only last for one hour.)
I HOPE YOU LIKE BOOKS AND BOWLING PT. 2. I MIGHT COME BACK AND EDIT IT LATER, BUT FOR NOW ENJOY!
