Grayson: WARNING: THERE WILL BE A SHORT SCENE OF VIOLENCE. ( It will be short though)
(A continue of the last chapter)
Grayson was hauled roughly to his feet. Handcuffs, with duct tape over them, replaced the rope that had been chafing into his wrists. His feet were left unbound so he could walk to the waiting vehicle. With the gag still tearing into his throat, he was beginning to be led away when he was suddenly, and quite brutally, struck in the right eye from out of nowhere.
He stumbled, and tried to catch himself from falling, (somewhat hard to do with hands tied behind your back). Rough hands caught him, only to then be hit again! He stumbled, and then was caught, for the same process to be repeated. By the time it stopped, after five times of being mercilessly hit, Grayson felt like the right side of his face was on fire. There was bound to be extensive swelling and bruising. And then, to top it off, a long strip of cloth was placed firmly over his eyes, blindfolding him.
A hand roughly holding either side of him, he was practically dragged to the waiting vehicle. Even though he couldn't see, he knew as he was forced to lie down, that he was in the trunk of a large car. His feet were securely bound together with rope. He heard someone sit down next to him, and stiffened when he felt a cold steel blade lightly touch his throat.
"You move, or try to escape, it will not end well for you." the steely voice of Robert spoke near his ear.
He stayed as still as he could, though it was somewhat hard being in a moving car. As he tried to get comfortable, a voice from the front seat caught his ear.
"I'm sure you are wondering why I had you beaten." he heard Edward say.
Grayson had figured he had gotten that beating as a revenge for what his grandfather had done. He hadn't believed for a second, that if everything went as planned, that Edward wouldn't have his henchmen make a punching bag out of him. It had hurt and was slightly unexpected when it happened, but he had still realized that it might.
Of course, Grayson couldn't communicate that to him, and he heard the answer very shortly after. "I really did hate to have that done to you, but I needed something to show him in case he doesn't cooperate."
Grayson doubted that his captor had hated having to do that. And what he heard was that he had gotten beaten in the face to convince his old man that he (Edward) meant business. Edward said nothing else, and they made it to wherever they were going, a few minutes later.
"Has he arrived?" Grayson heard Robert say beside him.
"Not yet. We are early though." Edward answered. "When he does get here, you stay in the back with our prisoner until I say differently."
"Got it."
They waited for about another five minutes when Grayson heard a car pull up beside them.
"Ah, the person we have been waiting for. Sean, you come with me. Robert you already have your orders." Grayson heard two car doors open and then close. Straining, he tried to hear what was being said outside, but could hear nothing. Wearily, he let himself relax, as much as could being bound, gagged, and blindfolded, and waited to see what would happen next.
SO, FOR A BREIF MOMENT, I AM GOING TO GO INTO TOBIAS HAWTHORNE'S 3RD POV. WITH GRAYSON BEING IN THE BACK OF THE VEHICLE, YOU WON'T KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON OUTSIDE, AND I WANTED TO EXPLORE A LITTLE BIT HOW THE OLD MAN FEELS WHEN HE SEES WHAT THEY DID TO HIS GRANDSON. HOPE YOU LIKE IT AND IS NOT TO CONFUSING.
