IT WAS A COLD NIGHT, the trio were arguing in Gemma's bedroom because of a school project that they all disagreed on.

"Your suggestion was terrible Tatum" Gemma laughs "I'll simply ignore that."

"I gotta agree with Gem, sometimes you think we're like Tony Stark, rich and intelligent." Jenna throws a pillow on her friend "Tay we're high schoolers."

"Hey I just said we could make those web things Peter Parker did, he was also a high schooler." Tatum defends herself, resulting in the two girls starting a pillow fight.

Gemma was giggling when she felt her phone chiming on her lap, looking at it she smiled at the name.

connie: do you think I'm crazy?

g.: well it depends...

connie: I think I am

g.: what happened connie?

The girls got startled by the doorbell, Gemma quickly got up cringing at the time, it was 2:30 am.

"What the hell?" Tatum whispers.

The blonde teenager just ignored her friend's pleas for her to come back and tiptoed her way down the stairs. She could see a silhouette through the blurred glass on her front door.

"Come back here Gemma!" Jenna shouted-whispered from the top of the stairs.

"Do you wanna die?" Tatum exclaimed, getting shhh by both of the girls.

Approaching the door carefully, Gemma squinted her eyes trying to see better through the glass with no luck. The girl almost screamed when her phone made a sound in the silent house.

connie: are you home?

Shaking her head incredulously, the girl opened the door and her breath catched on her throat. He was there.

"Conrad?"

"Gem." He looked up from his phone and smiled at the girl.

"What the hell are you doing here?" She walks up to him, the chilly weather hitting her bare arms.

"Happy Halloween!"

"You came all the way here at 2 in the morning to wish me a Happy Halloween?" The girl chuckles, shaking her head.
