NOT LONG AFTER GEMMA WENT BACK TO THE HOUSE, she heard Jeremiah's car arriving. Jumping from her place on the couch, the girl hurriedly made her way outside to see if they got any good news. She reached them at the same time Conrad did, the boy looked at her, but she kept her eyes trained on Belly in front of her.

"You guys went to the store?" Conrad asks, looking at the bags Jeremiah was holding.

"Uh, we actually thought about leaving," Belly says "but then we decided not to listen to you."

"We didn't just get groceries. We actually went to see Aunt Julia." Jeremiah looks at his brother, while Conrad takes a glance at the blonde girl next to him.

"How did that go?" the older boy returns his focus on his brother.

"Not great." the boy shakes his head "Talk to Dad yet?"

"No.'

"Belly, I'll help you with the groceries." Gemma says, sensing the boys might need some time to talk.

"Yeah, sure."

Gemma takes the bags from Jeremiah's hands and smiles at the boy. On their way inside, Belly looks at the blonde girl suggestively and laughs.

"Conrad was looking at you like a lost puppy." Belly says when the girls reach the kitchen.

"I bet he is." Tatum says coming after the girls "His lost, honestly."

"Can you two shut up?" Gemma groans, putting some food away.

"Gem, now a more serious subject." the redhead warns sitting on top of the island. "You have your trip scheduled in five weeks."

"What trip?" Belly asks.

"Umm.. I'm going to Vancouver to finish some things for when my classes start."

"Oh, I forgot about it." the young girl says quietly, "I'm sorry I wasn't there for you when you were the most excited."

"It's alright Bells." Gemma touches the girl's shoulder "You can still help me pack, I'm not leaving until the end of summer."

Before Belly can answer, the two boys make their way into the kitchen.

"Oh shit, I forgot Gems!" Jeremiah exclaims "I'm gonna miss you, you better come visit next summer."

"I will." the girl chuckles nervously, feeling the older boy's eyes burning on her, if no one told him, he still doesn't know.

"Where are you going?" Conrad asks.

"She got a scholarship from a photography program she enrolled during the last semester," Tatum says, "my girl is going to the University of British Columbia."

Conrad hums in answer, looking at the girl. Gemma smiles faintly at the boy, but doesn't last long when Jeremiah crushes her in a hug.

"You're gonna rock them Gems!"
