I Promise

Macau's Adventure

-Macau-

Hia and P'Pete went to the party. They look tense but I bet they can get through it. Me? I don't wanna go, meeting the uncle who killed my father is not something I can do, plus I have games that I need to level up.

After their car leave our front yard I went back to my room. Venice has a nanny now so I don't need to be with him all the time. 

I get into my room and play games with my phone on the bed. after around 30 minutes I look at the clock and realize that Venice is supposed to drink his milk so I decided to check on him. When I got outside the house has already quiet. The maids have already gone back to their accommodation, I checked the dining area, and the food is already served but the nanny and Venice are nowhere to be seen, so I decided to walk to the nursery room that had just been built a few days ago. 

The door is closed but I can hear the nanny's voice from inside the room, sounds like she talking to someone on the phone.

"Yes mam, Vegas and his boyfriend left the house 30 minutes ago and the maids just go back to their accommodation, everything is ready. I also have prepared the room to look like a crime scene"

....

"The younger brother is in his room, I will finish him after this"

....

"Yes, mam! I will bring the baby to you tonight as planned" 

I heard all the conversation and realized that the nanny has bad intentions for Venice. I try to think fast and decided to press myself on the wall next to the door and wait for the nanny and Venice to get out of the room then I will grab Venice from her, and run to his room to hide and Call Hia Vegas and P'Pete.

Okay! that's the plan! I can do this.

I proceed with the plan and wait. 

Minutes later the door opened and I see the nanny and Venice in her embrace. Of course, she didn't expect me so when I grabbed Venice she look dumbfounded. 

Venice who was surprised started crying. My heart pounded so hard

"Give him back!" she said 

Of course, I'm not dumb and give Venice to her, I run as fast as I can to my room, closed the door, and locked it. God damned the door is stuck so I can't lock the door on time and she is already in front of the door and pushing the door to make it open. we pushed the door back and forth. I swear she is strong! what did she eat? I try my best to keep the door closed and she tries her hard to open the door. 

Venice keeps crying because of the commotion and my adrenaline has reached its max. I took a baseball bat behind the door and let the nanny win the push-the-door competition we just do. Walks back a few steps and when I see her face I hit her head with the baseball bat. I hit her right in the head and she falls instantly. I reach for my phone but I can't find it. 

"Where did I put my phone? shit! I always forget where I put my stuff! it's like when I really needed it, it's gone" I talked to myself.

I was too busy looking for my phone that I didn't realize the nanny that I hit before has awake and now ready to attack me. Venice cried so hard that I can't hear anything besides his cry. 

Oh, the bed! I played with my phone in bed before I look went outside!

when I turn my face I saw the woman is only a meter away from me and ready to plunge into me so with the last reflex I have I hit her head for the second time with the baseball bat that makes her fall for the second time but this time I don't think it safe to stay here, I grab the baby monitor in my nightstand not bother to search for my phone again. I run as fast as I can to the second floor.
