Carcass

Tragedies, those terrifying ones,
When we see how animals burn.
Humans, pity, as they say they feel,
But, never protested, years of slaughtering! Quite? Still?

Decaying carcass rotting in the land,
Envious acts normalized to those with money in hand.
Animals, once sacred now scared.
Our ' evolution' and ' interests'
Took lives of innocents, we ever cared?
