Airship

sonic couldn't stand still he was running around the airship looking out all the windows "This thing is way past cool" As he said this he crashed into a tall blonde boy in armour.

"ow what was that" the blonde boy sighed

"sorry I wasn't looking where I was going" apologised Sonic as he helped the boy up.

"It's alright," said the tall boy "My name's Jaune Arc nice to meet you"

"The name's Sonic," the blue hedgehog said as the two shook hands.

suddenly a hologram of Goodwitch appeared "Hello and welcome to Become" she began " My name is Glynda Goodwitch, you are among a privileged few who have received the honour of being able to attend this prestigious academy, our world is experiencing an incredible time of peace, and as future huntsmen and huntresses, it is your duty to uphold it. You have demonstrated the courage needed for such a task, and now it is our turn to provide you with the knowledge and the training to protect our world"

as the announcement faded Juane hunched over "I think I'm gonna throw up" Sonic rush his new friend over to a bin.

"It's ok dude I hear motion sickness is common," Sonic said trying to cheer up Jaune as the airship landed.

Beacon courtyard

as Sonic was patting Jaune on the back after he threw up again he was startled by a small explosion not too far away "Hey Jaune hang tight here a second" he said as he sped off to the location of the explosion.

"unbelievable this is just the kind of thing I was talking about" yelled a girl with long white hair done up in a side ponytail.

"I'm really really sorry" apologised Ruby

"Ugh, you complete dolt" Weiss continued she was about to continue laying into Ruby when Sonic ran up to the two of them.

"Hey is everyone okay here I saw an explosion," asked the blue hedgehog

"Oh great another rat," Weiss said to herself

"we're fine thanks sonic" Ruby answered "it was just an accident"

"An accident that was your fault" yelled Weiss

"If it was an accident and she said she was sorry then leave her alone princess!" Snapped Sonic

"it's heiress actually," said a girl with back hair wearing a bow "Weiss Schnee, heiress to the Schnee dust company, one of the largest producers of energy propellant in the world."

"Finally some recognition" smirked Weiss

the black-haired girl continued "the same company infamous for its controversial labour forces and questionable business partners."

"how dare" Weiss stammered

seeing Weiss like this made both hedgehogs snicker as they did this Weiss huffed off, Ruby was about to thank the black-haired girl but she had disappeared, Jaune walked up to the two hedgehogs "Hey you two ok".

"Yeah" Ruby sighed "Aren't you the guy who threw up on the ship?"

the group of friends began to wander around the campus while chatting "In his defence motion sickness is much more common than people let on!" Sonic defended Jaune who was nodding along.

"Look I'm sorry vomit boy was the first thing that came to mind" Ruby apologised

"Oh yeah?" Jaune joked "what if I called you crater face?"
