it was the start of the vital festival and Team RWBYS were walking down to the docks to check out the competition arriving from the other kingdoms, "oh this is absolutely wonderful" Weiss sang

"I don't think I've ever seen you smile this much Weiss" Ruby joked "it's kind of weirding me out"

"yeah, it's pretty creepy ice queen" sonic laughed, giving Ruby a fist bump

"How could you not smile?!" Weiss replied "a festival dedicated to the cultures of the world, there will be dances, parades, a tournament, oh the amount of planning and organisation that goes into this event, is simply breathtaking"

"how do make something so cool sound so lame" sonic whined

"quite, you" Weiss huffed

"remind me again why we're spending our Friday afternoon visiting the stupid docks" Yang complained as they made their way to the railings

"it smells like fish," Ruby said as the two hedgehogs covered their sensitive noses

"The students from vaceuo are arriving by ship today" Weiss answered Yang "as representatives of vale, we should give them a proper welcome"

"So we're just spying on the competition" Yang clarified

"you can't prove that" Weiss answered back, the team walked past a crime scene, a store had been robbed and broken glass was everywhere, the police were on the scene and had cornered it off with tape.

"What happened here?" Ruby asked getting on her tiptoes to try and get a better view

"Robbery, second Dust shop to be hit this week," said a police officer "this place is turning into a jungle" the officer went with his partner to get a closer look at the store.

"that's terrible," said Sonic, the team could overhear the police officer talking to his partner

"they left all the money again" sighed one of the officers

"Who needs this much dust?" Asked the other

"I dunno, an army?" The first officer replied

"you thinking the white fang?" His partner asked

"yeah I'm thinking we don't get paid enough," said the first officer, as they continued their investigation

"hmph, the white fang, what an awful bunch of degenerates" Weiss complained crossing her arms

"what's your problem?" Blake snapped at Weiss

"my problem?" Weiss argued back "I simply don't care for the criminally insane"

"they're hardly a bunch of psychopaths, they're just a group of misguided Faunus" Blake defended

"misguided?!" Weiss yelled back "they want to wipe humanity off the face of the planet!"

"so then they're very misguided" Blake continued "either way, it doesn't explain why they would rob a Dust shop in the middle of vale"

"Hm... Blake's got a point" Ruby added

"yeah the police never caught that Torchwick guy, Ruby and I ran into a couple of months ago, might have been him," said Sonic

"That doesn't change the fact that the White Fang are a bunch of scum, those Faunus only know how to lie, cheat and steal!" Weiss said while giving the two hedgehogs a glare causing Ruby to hide behind her hood
