Walking along the hallways of my palace I bumped into someone.  It was a girl in a dark blue dress. She had big and mesmerising blue eyes, and long red curly locks of hair that stretched down to her waist.
"You must be Merida. My sister Anna told me we had a visitor. You're staying over for the night, right?" I gestured towards her.
I wasn't sure whether I could trust this girl or not. She could be a thief, a burglar, or working for Theodora for all I knew. There must be a reason why she's here. I saw her entering our kingdom on a horse earlier today. But my guts told me she wasn't a threat.
"Nice to meet yew queen, Queen Elsa." She bowed. A trail of of curly locks falling by her sides.
"Nice to meet you too," I smiled.
Merida'a eyes widened like she had seen a ghost, one she had seen too often. "Want to see something cool." Merida smiled.
         "What is it?" I said.
"Turn around."Merida spun her fingers in a circle.
I spun my head around and spotted a fluorescent shade of blue. It was a small creature, more like a spirit hovering three inches above the ground, kind of like something between a little person and a baby octopus. It was beautiful.
          "What is that?" I questioned
"My family call it Will O' the wisp. I first saw one as a young girl, they say they lead you to your destiny, crazy as that might sound," laughed Merida, suddenly eyeing me like a new found puzzle piece.
"It's beautiful." I thought out loud. I reached my hand out and the spirit hovered into     the palm of my hands, bouncing around like a ball of flames. A ghostly 'ooo' sound vibrated from the creature.
Will O' the wisp hovered out of my hands and towards Merida. As soon as she reached out a hand to grab the spirit it vanished into thin air like dissipating snow flakes. I remembered Merida mentioning this creature was tied to destiny. Merida had something to to with my destiny. Could she be linked to Theodora? No. She couldn't.
"First time seeing a wisp, huh?" Merida looked at me.
"Well. Yeah. It's as if it's saying destiny could be standing right in front of you," I laughed. Both our eyes widened. Merida faked a cough.
"Destiny works in the most craziest ways. You wouldn't believe." Merida cleared her throat," So.... what do yew normally do for fun?" She tried to change the subject. As soon as I opened my mouth to speak a sound erupted through the hallway. Trumpets, drums, all sorts of instruments and sounds made its way into my ear. A marching band and a group of people skipped their way towards Merida and I. They were in a Congo line, and leading that line was none other than Anna.
Congo, Congo congo! Congo Congo Congo!
Not again Anna. She was probably drunk. Every chance she had to throwing a party in the palace a whole Congo line would break out.
"Hey guys! Come join the Congo line!"
Merida did not look like the party type. I shook my head at Anna. "I'm... kind of tired." Merida made a funny face. "I mean it's midnight. I've travelled a long, long way. Almost three hours to be exact," she rambled in that adorable accent.
I don't know what got over me. We ran like two children playing chase, away from my sister and the crowd of people.

The next morning
I stand outside my palace staring at a snow covered tree, then at the searing sun. I thought about Theodora. The way she looked at me. Her anger. what have I ever done to her?
Then my mind pictured Merida that girl I had met last night. She was a stranger to me. They both are.   I cup my hands onto my face, worried and confused. I didn't want a repeat of last time with Hans.
Then I felt a wave of heat. Boiling, searing heat that weakened me. Made me feel like I was melting. Made me struggle to stand.
"Theodora!" I shout, pointing my arm towards the figure. "What are you doing here. Tell me now. What do you want from my kingdom. Why do you hate me so much?"
Theodora walked towards me looking into my eyes, like a snake. I noticed her eyes were the colour blue. They reminded me of Anna.
Her black hair was pulled back into a long pony tail. She was wearing dark eye shadow.
"I'm your sister," she said walking closer to me "You want answers? Fine sis, I'll give you answers. Mother and Father never told you about me of course. I was born five years before you Elsa. I should have been the Queen of Arendelle! Mother and Father gave me up because unlike you I was born with fire powers! The troll king told them I was born with great evil and if they kept me I would grow up to endanger Arrendelle! It's all your fault! Sure you were born with powers too but The Rock King did not see great evil in you!".
Snow flakes float above my head as I listened and absorbed the information.
"How could you be my sister? Mother and father never told us about you! You're lying."
Snow flakes began to melt from the top of my head.
"Anyway, Theodora. I have been and felt isolated, trapped, lonely. I thought I was a monster but it's going to be okay. Because all you need ... all I ever needed was love. My sister showed me that."   I tried to grab my long lost sisters hand.
Her hair turned into flames. I felt a heat wave coming my way.  Whenever Theodora flamed up, it weakened me like, made me melt like a boiling hot summer's day.
"Don't you see? Oh beautiful Elsa!   How can you be so stupid.  We're polar opposites.  If we stay together, close enough to each other we'll both die!"
Theodora moved a step closer to me "That is why I'm going to kill you. And as the oldest sister I am the heir to the throne!"
Her whole body radiated fire. I fell back. "Where have you been this whole time?" I asked struggling for breath.
"The rock trolls sent me to a small village as a baby. Five hours away from here. eventually I found out my past, from a witch.  But that doesn't matter.  Any last words before you die sis?"
She pulled out a sword. flames radiating around it.  As soon as she took her first blow something pushed itself in front of me.
"M-Merida?" I squinted through the blur, noticing the red mane of hair.
Theodora's eyes widened and fell back
            "Theodora?" Merida said.
"I thought you died.  That year, after Dunbroch set on fire."
                Theodora fell aback.
"Yes. I once set Dunbroch on fire. Wasn't it two years ago? What are you doing here anyway, Merida? - You wouldn't want to be around a big bad monster like me," Theodora hissed.
"Yer not a monster!" Merida retorted.
"Oh I can be a monster alright." Theodora grinned then vanished once again. Merida offered me a hand.
"No. It's fine I can help myself up," I said.
"You know her?" I asked.
"She was my best friend growing up." Merida said, not looking me in the eye.
"When the kingdom found out that she was a witch she set the kingdom set on fire. She never came back. I thought she died in the flames." Merida looked around the outskirts of the palace crossing her arms. Worry crept onto her face. "I need get going."
"Wh-why did you spend the night here?" I asked.
"I was going out for a bit of fresh air, away from my bossy mother, plus the weather last night. I guess the wisps, destiny fate brought me here. I have to go now." said Merida

I packed supply's for Merida's trip. One apple, water, and some fruits.
"Your accent. It's different.  I like it." I said.
"Scottish," Merida winked. "Thanks."
Without thinking I hugged the stranger.
"Thankyou for saving my life Merida. Come back to Arendelle any time." I said.
Merida nodded. "Yer sister also told me something about the Rock trolls, they told her that I'm uh ... the saviour, the undoing of evil around here."   Merida said while climbing onto the horse.
Hearing those words lots of thoughts and conclusions and ideas formed in my head. Theodora. Merida.
"What could that mean..." I muttered.
"Whatever it is I'd rather not be a part of it. It was nice meeting yew Elsa.  Take care," said Merida through gritted teeth.
She stared at me with those big blue eyes. Worry crept up on her face.  My face turned the colour of her hair, I looked away.
Anna and I waved Merida goodbye as she rode off, out the gates and into the distance turning smaller and smaller the farther she went.
