Merida

I lay on my bed fed up with my mom.
"Merida! I can't believe what you've done! Why Merida! "
"Because of yeww the whole kingdom thinks yew arr involved with witch craft and evil!"
I could hear the crowd of villagers outside chanting  "Kill the witch princess!" Loud bangs resonate from the walls of our palace gates.
I bury myself in my blanket
"You arr to stay inside yer room. We are not to talk about this anymore. Yew arr not allowed out of this room!"
I sit up and scream. "But mom!"
"No buts Merida. Yewv caused enough trouble to me, to the family, to our whole kingdom!"
I thought of when I was a little girl when my mom would tickle me and play hide and seek. I thought about when she had turned into a bear, and the devastation I had felt when we thought she'd remain a wild bear, forever. I thought of when I got my mother back, how she let her hair out, her long knee length hair blowing in the wind as she'd ride a horse alongside with me. This all changed when she and all of Arendelle saw me making out with Elsa. It was my first kiss.
"Why can't yew just leave me alone! She's my friend. Maybe even more. I love her!"
Mom covered her mouth. "MERIDA. Yew arr TWENTY TWO years old now, a grown woman! Stop being childish! Girls cannot love, kiss, marry other girls!"
My mom slams my bedroom door.  I get up and slash a sword against the wooden walls, the doors, my wooden bedroom frame which had felt like I have done many times before.
I lay back on my bed, frustrated. She's never going to let me out.
I heard a clicking sound coming from the window.
I looked through my window. It took me a moment to recognise the prince. The one that held Elsa's hand that night, and danced with her.
He was throwing pebbles on my window.
"What is it!" I yell.
"Princess Merida. I can help you save Elsa!" He yells, his hands circled around his mouth to louden the sound of his voice.
I had tied as many bed sheets as I could could find together, tied it to my wooden bed frame, threw it out the window then climbed down.
When I finally landed, the prince stretched out a hand.
"I'm prince Frederic."
"Err hello Prince Frederic." I shook his hand.
"So here's the plan..." He said, "We'll dress up as Arendelle guards, sneak into the palace, steal the key, free Elsa and then stop Theodora,"He whispered.
"But why are you helping me?" I asked.
"I was raised to help strangers," he replied  casually.
"But why help me and not Theodora?"
He scratched his hair. "I think you and Elsa having the hots for each other is pretty cool. It's hot."
I punched him on the shoulder.
"Gosh. Well, so-rry!" He said mockingly.
I packed my bows and arrows, grabbed an apple and marched to the barn.
As I hopped  onto Angus, Frederic pulled me back. "I have a faster way to get to Arendelle. Besides, your horse is probably safer here than there."
He pulled out a crystal ball.
"What is that?" I asked. He shook the ball then whispered to it. "Arendelle."
The next thing I knew we were standing right on the outskirts of Arendelle.
"It's a transporter. I stole it from Theodora." He winked. I looked away.
        "But how?" I asked.
"I'm not only a prince, but an explorer and thief. Steal from the rich and give to the poor!"
"Gee, who are yew, Robin Hood?" I roll my eyes.
"Come on let's go save Elsa!" He shoved his crystal ball into his satchel.
. . .
We knocked out some guards. Borrowed their armour, and threw it on.
I hung my bow and arrow on my back and marched alongside Frederic.
"Now we just need to find the keys to the dungeon."
"I dug into the pockets of the guard's armour and pulled out a big key ring."
Frederick's eyes dilated. "Well that saves us more time."
We snuck into the palace, past the dining room, into the throne room, into a few corridors and into the dungeons. He grabbed some flash lights from the wall and lit it on fire, making it clearer to see through the dark tunnels.
We past a lot of prisoners who were mostly ruffians and thugs.
Frederic stopped when he saw this odd looking creature locked behind bars. It was what I recognised as a snow man.
"Olaf!" Frederic greeted the creature. "Frederic!!" Olaf shrieked.
"Hello Olaf, could you help tell us where Elsa and Anna are locked up?" I asked.
Olaf slid through the bars in one swift move and out of the cell.
"Why stay in there when you were able to get out this whole time!" Frederic asked what I was thinking.
"Because everyone else is behind bars so... I thought I would do it too! Duhh, follow me!"
Olaf skipped along the foot path like he had no care in the world. No idea how much danger his kingdom was in.
Then we came to a stop. I looked through the cell and saw Elsa. Her arms were chained.
She was still in her ball gown and her hair was out. She was as breath taking as ever.
Why is she the only person that's ever made me feel this way?
She wasn't alone. There were two other people.
"Olaf?" Anna and Elsa said in harmony when they saw the snow man.
I got out the key I had found in the pockets of the armour, tried every key. There were seven keys. But none of them worked.
"No. Come on. Come on. Come on."
"Let me try." Olaf interrupted.
He bent down, shoved snowy hands into the key hole twisted it. CLICK.  The lock opened up.
Frederic and I took our helmets off and pushed open the cell. Anna and Kristoff came running out, everyone except for Elsa. She had been chained to magical hand cuffs.
"Here. Let me help." I took out my key and unlocked the cuffs.
Elsa hugged me tight. "We have to stop Theodora," she snapped.
"Elsa she'll kill you!" said the man I recognised as Kristoff.
"No she won't, I know there's good In her,"'Anna staggered forward.
"I agree," I added.
