The lapis side: The lapis side members usually have MUCH higher authority in the empress's coven and everyone on the boiling isles respects the members of that side.
Except Eda, obviously
And lau is the lapis guard and they are the absolute highest level of authority under the empress because they are the princess.
The golden side: The golden side consists of mainly the Steves. And since there was no golden guard for years Hunter was assigned to be the golden guard. And the funny part is, the lapis side roasts the golden side, especially Lilith and kikimora
