"Your drunk." Miles grins at me. It's a sloppy drunk grin. But yes he's right. I am.

"Shhh." I giggle.

"Where did Hanna disappear to?" He asks trying to look around.

"Bathroom."

He nods leaving me to making another drink.

"I think you've had your limit." A voice says behind me. I turn sloshing the drink all over.

"Oops." I giggle. Then I meet the icy blue eyes of Alec. Squinting I try to take in his features but I've had too much alcohol.

I sidestep him and head back outside. Not so graciously. Plopping down by the water I sigh and close my eyes.

"Not a chatty Kathy then?" The voice says beside me again. Rolling my eyes I ignore him. "I see. Hanna told you I'm an absolute bastard and a waste of space. Is that right?" He asks. I hear the humor in his voice.

"Sums it up." I state not looking at him.

"Do you often let others opinions rule your life then? I wouldn't take you as a follower from what I've seen." He's baiting me.

"I think just fine for myself. I just don't surround myself with assholes like you."

"You don't even know me." He laughs standing up.

"I know plenty of guys like you. That's the point. You all think your gods gift to women." I state glaring at him.

"It was a pleasure but your masters coming so I'll go for now. He bows before walking back to the house leaving me fuming.

"You about ready?" Hanna asks glancing at where Alec just was.

I nod and stand up almost losing my balance.  We make it to her Range Rover eventually and she helps me in. The ride home is silent. When we pull in I notice my parents car isn't here still. Good for them.

Hanna gets out and helps me upstairs. I change and climb into bed after she leaves. I try to force his words out of my head but he's like a leech. Here to stay in the worst way.
