We all suddenly felt a rubble in the floor. I looked up, and Carlos stopped singing. Clint and Spike both looked over at Shane, who shrugged.

"Wasn't my stomach."

I felt another rumble in the earth. Gannon slowly stood up, drawing his sword. I took out Arah. Jay reached for her gun inside her bag. Slowly, our small army was armed and ready for anything to come our way.

"What if it's just a storm or something?"Spike asked slowly.

"That doesn't sound like a storm,"Carlos said, pointing up to the twilight sky. There wasn't a hint of white against the purple sky.

"Because it isn't a storm,"Jay interjected angrily."It's Dragovich. In a mech suit."

I got into a defensive position, and Arah lit up slightly."FIGHT ME!"I yelled into the forest. There was another rumble.

"Ash, shut up!" Jay hit me on the arm."We want to slowly but steadily get near him. Carlos, Spike, and Clint, I want to guys to go for the neck. Gannon, try to take out the heart with your bow. Ash, Shane, fight his minions if he has any. I'll go for the main control parts. We should split up to take our positions. Ash and Shane, stay here."

Shane saluted her."Ma'am, yes ma'am!"

Jay rolled her eyes."Let's roll out." She disappeared into the forest along with everyone else. Shane and I sat down on the log.

"I guess that leaves us,"I sighed.

There was sounding a crack and the sound of metal hitting metal. Shane was up against my back, blocking a bullet with his heaving body armor. He raised his gun, and I held my breath as I raised Arah. Someone, or something, was in the woods. I heard another gun shot, and again Shane blocked it.

"You need to not get shot, or you're out." Shane whispered into my ear, and his warm breath seemed to wrap a noose around my neck.

A group of people suddenly stepped out, surrounding us. Their faces were masked and their guns were held high. I yelled out in surprise as a bullet hit my chest. I frowned and ran at the person aside of my bleeding, quickly slitting their throat before they could even notice. Shane rained bullets at the attackers and several of them fell to the ground. I ran at another person, and a bullet shot out of their gun. My sword deflected it and I quickly decapitated them, hitting another guy in the head as well. Shane shot the rest before running over to me.

"You alright bro?"

I licked my hand before rubbing the blood off."Yeah. I'm fine. Once I get my stamina up, I'll be fine."

Shane nodded twice, looking away but then looking back. I smiled a little, walking away, but I still felt his eyes on my back. I again heard some shouts, and the two of us raced side by side until I saw what kept rumbling the earth. It was a large mech, at least forty feet, towering over the two of us. Emma seemed to have things under control as she basically flew through the air.

(A/N: Attack on Titan anyone? No... Kay...)

I stayed away, unable to help. For the first time, I felt useless. A slight headache formed in the back of my head, and I retreated back into the forest.

"Ash!"

I suddenly heard a loud shout. Gannon. He seemed in quite some distress. The others shouted my name, and guilt formed in my throat. I almost didn't run back, until I saw my sword give off a flash of light. The mech seemed to be falling, and the pod holding Dragovich started ascending straight towards the ground.

I pushed off the ground with all my might, my sword smashing through the glass. Unmercifully, I cut straight through the strangers neck.

And that was the first time Jay piled at the sight of blood.
