The Next Day (Chapter 9)

Ash's POV

I stored Arah in a safe place, never to take him out except for class. Jay had been really mad at me for sneaking out. I had to listen to her long lecture about 'you are insane' or 'what the heck were you doing with those boys? It's supposed to be Ash x Gannon'.

We only had one class today and it was swords. I had retrieved my sword-thankfully- and was able to attend without getting into detention.

I'd challenged myself that day to wear a cloak that day. Big mistake. It got sliced in half by Gannon's sword. He's a butt.

We walked into class. I saw Kim talking to Carlos over by a sheet of paper on the wall. I ran over.

"Sup!"I exclaimed.

Gannon smiled."We were paired up in class."

I blushed slightly.

"Okay everyone!"the teacher yelled."Get with your partners. We're gonna start with the simple attack. It's step and throw it out."

I looked over at Gannon. His sword was probably 3/4 of my body length. I gulped down my insides and looked at my sword. Probably 1/4.

I carefully stood my ground keeping Arah close. Gannon smiled widely. We circled eachother.

"Heard you snuck out last night,"he whispered.

I nodded."It was in the office!"

"Good thing you were able to get it!"Gannon stepped forward and attacked me towards my stomach. I was able to dodge it though.

"Ditto,"I sighed."Just why don't you-"I stepped forward to attack him. He dodged."-understand? It was taken! Karly and Turbo."

He rolled his eyes and leapt towards me. I dodged, but he sliced my cape in half. I gawked down on the ground. Gannon blushed slightly. We shared a giggle.

And then I realized how handsome he was. The big green eyes met my silver. He helped me up. His touch made my heart soar.

I was falling for a prince.
