Now reader...you're probably wondering who Ash is. Ash is the daughter of Dust, also known as Mithrarin. He is the main character in Dust: An Elysian Tail, a 2d viewer with amazing art, fighting, and a down right awesome story line.

But doesn't that game have to keep going? Doesn't the new generation have to keep that story going?

Ash's POV

I checked to make sure I had everything in my bag. Carefully, I zipped it up. I lifted it off the pinkish-reddish comforter of my bed and hauled it next to my door. I leaned against the wall next to it, channeling my inner peace.

"Why are you sending me here?"I thought aloud."Why can't I stay?"

"Because this would be beneficial for the whole family,"my dad said, opening the door."You're the first born and you need to learn to carry our family's legacy on. People in Aurora are counting on you, Ash. Even brave ol' Uncle Auvgustin."

"It's not going to help me though,"I said, turning away from him."All it's going to do is destroy my bond with you. It's four years away from home."

"Which is good because it's four years of finding out who you are. Make the family proud."

"C'mon!"my brother called from downstairs."Time to go!"

I grabbed my bag and grabbed a wall chicken (a/n: Play the game you need to XD) from the pantry. My sister looked at me sickly. My mother, Ginger, looked at me with longing eyes.

"You are so much like your father,"she laughed, grabbing her bag and keys from the counter.

We piled into the car. My brother shoved me into the back, the grossest part of the car.

Let's just say my younger siblings get a little happy back there.

I put my headphones on and blasted dubstep in my ears. This was the year I knew my whole life was going to change. The year I wouldn't be judged. The year I wasn't pushed around.

This would be the year I was going a to need a lot of sleep.

We pulled up in front of the school. Hundreds of students were out on the front lawn or filing into the school eager to get the day going. I on the other hand, wasn't happy.

"You know what dorm you're in right?"Ginger asked.

I nodded."Thanks."

"It'll be four years not seeing you,"she kissed me on the forehead."Bye honey."

I exchanged hugs with the whole family. My parents, little sister and brother, our wolf.

I waved goodbye to my parents as they drove away. I was about to climb up the steps when someone slammed into me.
