"Ladies and gentlemen, give it up for Ruby Moore. Us pogues call her Rue for short. I first met her when she "accidentally" destroyed my sand castle in the first grade. I'm still holding a grudge by the way. JJ and I immediately befriended her and she became our favorite person. Our duo became one hell of an unstoppable trio. Rue was singled handedly raised by her Dad, Henry Moore, who owns the most famous Surf Shack on the island. As soon as her mother gave birth she wasted no time in ditching her newborn daughter. Anyway, she's pretty tight with her dad. She's a pogue through and through, lives on the cut near me. Spends her time skateboarding, working at the local record store, picking up shifts at the Wreck with Kie, and painting. I am 1000% sure that her art is going to end up in a museum one day. Did I mention she is insanely smart? Not street smart, she can be a little dense sometimes but she's school smart. Her and Pope are the brainiacs of our group of misfit toys. Most of us have a thing for her, including Kie but I'm positively sure Rue and JJ are soulmates, destined to be together, Bonnie and Clyde... you get the idea."
