HURRICANE AGATHA WAS A BITCH. Ruby had to take a freezing cold shower this morning because of it. That's wasn't the only problem it left. Her back yard was trashed along with the front deck.
Her dad and her got onto cleaning up right away. He didn't even bring up that she snuck out yesterday after he specifically told her not to. So, in some ways Ruby wanted to pray thanks to Agatha.
Standing on the uneven ladder, she was hammering the shop sign back into place. The storm knocked it down among other things. Their power was out along with everyone else's on the cut.
She heard a familiar whistle from behind her. "Look at you working hard." A voice teased.
A smile appeared as she turned around to see her two friends.
"Good morning, Handy Manny!" John B greeted.
"Wow! Agatha did this?" JJ asked motioning to the mess.
She carefully stepped down making sure not to fall. "I know. What a bitch."
Her dad leaned against the door of the shop with his arms crossed. "If it isn't dumb and dumber."
