Long ago, there lived a young girl, named Jing Lei. She was a kind soul, had loving parents, great friends and a little sister. She loved and cherished them very much, and they cherished her too... Except.... Her little sister, she was named Gu Jing. Gu Jing was filled with jealousy for her elder sister, no matter how hard Jing Lei tired to make a bond with her, she'd always break it out of hatred.
One day, one of Gu Jing's closest friends broke their friendship, shattering Gu Jing's heart into pieces. And she thought that it was Jing Lei's fault. Filled with jealousy and hatred, Gu jing began to hatch a plan for revenge. During that time, jing lei rescued a kitsune from drowning, but what was a kitsune doing at China?... Jing Lei took great care of the kitsune, fed it, protected it.
Gu Jing thought that she could kill that kitsune as a form of revenge for her sister breaking her and her friends bond.
It worked successfully...
Jing Lei, waking up to loud noises, she went to see what was happening, then she saw it... the scene where her kitsune friend... Died...
Heart broken from what she saw, her eyes prickled with tears and she sobbed, for far too long.... She sobbed for many days and nights without eating, trying to figure out who would do such a thing? Finally, she stopped, but that was when disaster stuck, she cried out ink, the color of an abyss. She suddenly realised who would've done something so horrible to her, Gu Jing.
Filled with hatred, she killed her own sister. But suddenly snapping back to reality, she realised what horrible deed she had done, knowing that it was the abyss. After that, she left the village trying to turn in a new leaf at someplace else. She vowed not to cry anymore to not make it happen again.
As she was living by herself, the Demon Bull King found her. Asking her to come to his fortress, she hesitated, but agreed. It turns out that word got around very fast, the demon bull king had a heir, an offspring to be exact. The heir was a very promising member of the Demon Bull Family, too promising....
The offspring had fire like powers, being such a young child with so much power.... The Samadhi fire had been created. After learning that Jing Lei and the abyssal tears, the family thought that the abyss could extinguish the samadhi fire. The abyss was one of the most powerful liquids in the world, they hoped that it was enough to extinguish the fire.
At the ritual site, the young girl met many celestials such as Sun Wu Kong, Ne Zha, and the Great Monk Tang San Zang . The celestials signaled the young girl to start crying the abyss, she was hesitant, but with many celestials, nothing could go wrong... Right?
As she cried abyss, they realised that it was not enough, so she had to cry more. The young girl felt like she was crying out lava, but for the celestials, she kept on crying. After hours of crying, it did not work, the celestials then forged rings to keep the samadhi fire in. It was good, the samadhi fire was contained, the child wasn't harmed, the celestials were happy... But one person wasn't, Jing Lei, she was glad that she could help the celestials, but it cost her her life.
There she died, the corpse not found, but the abyssal tears that were left were kept in the Demon Bull King's fortress. The reason why was because the abyss had immense power that every demon wanted. The celestials concluded that the abyss will return once the samadhi fire reforges, plus the young girls spirit was still wandering around in the mortal realm, finding a suitable host to rest it's power in, till this day, no one knows who it is... Yet...
But why? Why would the young girls spirit run around in the mortal realm when she could be in the afterlife? No one knows....

"so that girl..... She's Jing Lei's reincarnation..... Kind of?" Redson shrugged it off, "it's getting late, I'll do this tomorrow.." he said it right before he dozed off in his bed.
There you go! The origin of the eternal abyss! But ngl I will only write abt this when I write s3.
