"Ooo! I've been waiting ages for you to ask that! We can go with Umbra girl, shadow umbra, oh-oh! How about shadow girl?"

"isn't that already taken?"

"Moonlight girl? I thought my specialitys were shadows? "

I chuckled out, "well... its still in the works." Mei told me.

"As mayor, I hereby give Monkie Kid and his successor the key to our fair city."

"y'know what? Moonlight girl seems to be better than 'his successor.' "

"who's successor are you anyways?"

Mei questioned me but I nervously chuckled and tried to ignore her. The 'mayor' then gave mk the key, "Um, uh, what does this key do, exactly?" mk asked the so called mayor.

"Oh, you'll love this. It has the power to open anything!"

"Ooh, anything? Like a pet shop full of puppies?"

Mei questioned him, "I'd like puppies!".

"Yes. Or the door to a lion's cage, or an orphan's piggy bank, an imprisoned mystic power source. Whatever you like! Today, you can do no wrong. You've got my permission. 'Cause I'm the mayor!"

"yea I don't think he's actually the mayor..."

"Wow... A key that can open anything!"

Mk and Mei looked at each other, then at me, "I know what you both want to do, but I got training, I'll catch up with you guys later though."

They both went out of the noodle shop and rushed over to who knows where. I stretched my arms, getting ready to summon a shadow portal, slowly, a shadow portal formed. I jumped in it, only for me to land at flower fruit island, again. "what the!?" I calmed myself down, and tried to summon another shadow portal, I focused my energy on it, "hey there! What are the odds huh?" "ack!" I got startled by someone, "Sun. Wu. Kong." I gritted through my teeth. "Making a shadow portal? Going to your mentors to train am I right?" he asked me, "yea... But I don't know how to shadow portal there.". He thought for a bit, then sighed, "fine, I might not have your mentors powers, nor I am in good terms with him now... I might have a way for you to get there"

"how?"

"calm down, focus on your power, you have to feel it coursing through your body, think of the place you want to go, then summon the portal."

His method was more calming than Macaque's, I summoned the shadow portal and said thanks to him then jumped in. I slowly opened my eyes to see that I was in his dojo, "Macaque? You there? I wanna learn how to hide my horns and tail, for real this time.". I looked around the dojo, and saw some smoke coming from the kitchen, "Macaque?" I coughed as I went in. I saw Macaque cooking something, but it was brunt and it turned into a fire. "Kid! Your here!" he took a fire extinguisher and put out the fire that was there.
