6-Severus Talk To Me Please

Dinner had finally ended after what felt like a million years so you headed down towards Severus' classroom to talk to him. On the way out Remus had stopped you by grabbing a hold of your hand.

"Remus? Hey what's up?"

"Hey, I just wanted to talk. You know? Like, catch up and just chill up in the Astronomy Tower as we look at the stars maybe?"

"Oh, Remus, I would love to but I really have to go see Severus. Maybe another time yes?"

"Oh yes sure. Well good night y/n, I'll see you tomorrow?"

"Yea sure, good night Remus."

Before he walked away he kissed your cheek and gave you a hug. You felt your face redden and smiled to Remus as he walked away. You then realized that you had to get going so you rushed down to the dungeons and knocked on the classroom door. No one answered so you let yourself in to find the room empty. You then ran to his office to find that is also empty. As a last resort you headed towards is quarters and right when you approached the door, it opened automatically. Like is Severus already knew you were coming.

"Hello. Did you need me?"

"Hey Sev uh the door just opened on its own..did you know I was coming or something?"

"Yes I did. I heard how loud your mind was racing to find me. It was screaming 'Shit where's Severus? I gotta find him and talk to him. Where in the world could he be. He better be in his quarters, I'm tired of running around.' So yes and when I sensed your persence near the door I opened it for you to welcome yourself in. Now, what's up?"

"Oh right, so It's about when we all went to Hogwarts... About uh..Lily. James, Sirius, Remus and Peter.. I know what happened.. But I want to hear it from you. Severus, please."

"...Where did you hear that from."

"Severus, I-"

"How did you find out? And I told you I would tell you later and later clearly isn't that time so please don't bring it up."

"But Severus I'm worried for yo-"

"No! Just please. Stop. And please get out. It's getting late."

"Severus..just please let me talk first.."

"No! I don't need to tell you anything!"

"Severus..please..I'm worried for you.."

"...Fine. Hurry it up. I haven't got all night."

"Ok ok thank you. So I know about how we all went to school together obviously, but I also know the boys used to bully and play pranks on you. and that James loved Lily...and you did too...And please believe me when I say that Remus had nothing to do with it. He never wanted those things to happen but he really had no choice. He wants to apologize, and he has been wanting to since school.."

"And you believe what he says?? Yes I loved Lily, but James stole her from me. She was my bestfriend...I always always there for her y/n, and she was too but then one day she stopped talking to me and hung out with the others. I really doubt that Remus is sorry okay?! I will never forgive any of them for what happened. Never."

"Severus..I get it. I want you to understand that you could've always told me this. My reaction would be the same as it is now, I just want to help you get past it and look into the future."

"I appreciate you wanting to help, but I'll be fine on my own. I loved Lily a way I would never love anyone ever again."

You felt a rush of sadness because he didn't want help, which was typical of him, but you also felt sad because he said he would never love someone the way he loved Lily.
