9-Understanding

(I haven't proof-read this chapter yet but I'll get to it)

Waking up next to Remus was wonderful. He was so warm so you didn't have to worry about being cold throughout the night, and waking up in his arms just made your morning a whole lot better. Little did you know something was bound to happen within the next ten minutes.

You woke up before Remus, he looked so peaceful but tired at the same time. Deciding whether you wanted to get out of bed and get ready for the day or stay in bed a little longer with Remus, you choose to stay with him a little longer. You snuggled into his chest and you felt his pull you in more by your waist. "Good morning love." You looked up at him, he still had his eyes closed but with a smile on his face. "Morning Remus." You softly kissed his chin and he slowly opened his eyes to look at you. You both jumped a little when you heard a loud knock on the door. "I'll get it." You got out of bed and walked over to the door. "Who is it?" You grabbed the door handle and opened the door to find someone who you weren't expecting. "It's Severus, Morning y/n. Did you sleep well?" 

Quickly you closed the door slightly so that he could only see you in the door way. "Hi Sev! Uh I didn't expect you to come here, so early. I slept great thank you. Did you sleep well?" He eyed you carefully before taking a step forward closer to you. "I slept fine thanks. Y/n what are you doing? Let me in already." You scratched the back of your neck wondering what to say. "Oh yea uh, it's quite the mess in here actually, I'll see you at breakfast?" He rolled his eyes and pushed the door open stepping in. That's when he saw Remus buttoning his shirt up and realization hit him. The two of you spent the night together. "Y/n.. What is Lupin doing here. This early. Dressing up." Before you could answer him Remus spoke up first. "Professor Snape, good morning. I actually was on my way out if you don't mind."

Severus stopped Remus from leaving by stepping in front of him. "Actually I do mind, Lupin. What in Salazar's name are you doing with Y/n? Did you spend the night here?" By now Severus' fist were clenched and you could see his knuckles turning white. Remus seemed amused for what ever reason, he stuck his hands in his pockets and looked at Severus. "As a matter of fact, yes I did spend the night here with Y/n." He had a smirk play on his lips as he knew it was bothering Severus. You covered your face with both hands and let out a long sigh. "Remus you should get going I'll see you at lunch ok?" He nodded and kissed your forehead before leaving, Severus glaring daggers into him as he walked out of the room. 

"Severus.. Let me explain.." You took a step closer to him as he shut the door after Remus had left.

"Explain? That you slept with that monster?? Y/n what could you possibly explain? It seems fairly simple when you said you were going to spend the afternoon with Remus and hangout, you meant you got shagged by him then the two of you spent the night together up until now."

You looked at him dead in the eye. Why does it matter so much if you slept with him. You were allowed to sleep with whoever you wanted. "Why does it matter so much to you who I sleep with? And Remus is not a monster Severus."

Severus looked like he was going to explode. He was extremely jealous and it showed. Then it hit you. What he had said to you not so long ago. When you talked to him about the whole Lily situation and his past at school. "Wait.. Severus.. I'm so sorry. I-I don't know what I was thinking and I made a mistake. Please can you forgive me? Sev?"

He stood there for awhile thinking. Think whether he should forgive you or not. It would pain him if he didn't because the two of you wouldn't be on talking terms until he did and he didn't want that. At the same time he didn't want to, because you hurt him and he didn't want you anywhere near Remus. But at last he gave in. "Fine. I will. Lets get breakfast, I'm starving."

You beamed in happiness. "Thank you so much Sev, you have no idea how much that means to me for you to forgive me."  You smiled brightly at him and linked your arm with his as the two of you walked out towards the Great Hall for breakfast.
