The halls seemed like an endless maze. No matter which way Baldi went, he ended up right back where he started. “Hello!” He called out. “Can anyone hear me?” There was no response. “Hello!” He called out again. All that he heard was silence. The math teacher let out a sigh of defeat as he fell to the ground. He was all alone. “What are you doing here?” Someone asked. He looked up to find the principal looming over him. He got up onto his feet and pulled Kenneth into a hug. “Thank goodness you're her-”
“LET GO OF ME! Kenneth snapped at him. Baldi quickly let go of him and backed away. “Kenneth,” he said. “Is something wrong?”
“Is something wrong? IS SOMETHING WRONG! THE CHILDREN ARE SCARED OF YOU BALDI! YOU HAVE TRAUMATIZED THEM!”
“Kenneth, I have no idea what you're talking about? I have never done anything to cause something like that.”
“DON’T ACT LIKE YOU DON’T KNOW!” He grabbed ahold of Baldi and threw him against a wall. “YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU DID! YOU KNOW WHAT YOU DID T-”
Baldi quickly sat up screaming and in a cold sweat. 'What the hell was that dream?' he thought. He looked at a nearby clock to check the time. It was 7 AM. "SHIT!" He yelled as he jumped out of bed. He quickly put on his usual green sweater and blue pants. He quickly put on his brown shoes and ran out the door. 'Gotta not be late, gotta not be late' is all that went through the math teacher's head.
He ran over to the bus stop to find that bus was leaving. "WAIT!" He yelled as he ran alongside the bus. The bus quickly pulled over and the doors opened. He walked onto the bus and sat down in his usual spot. There was no one else on the bus. "You alright?" The bus driver asked.
"I'm fine," Baldi responded. "Just overslept."
"Well," the bus driver said. "I really suggest that you don't do that again." Baldi let out a slight chuckle. "Yeah, you're right." He sat in silence for the rest of the ride until he got to his stop. He got up as the bus came to a stop and the doors opened. "Have a good day," He said as he got off the bus. The bus doors closed behind him as he walked towards the school.
Once Baldi was at the school he saw Kenneth standing by the door. "There you are, Mr.Baldi," he said as the math teacher got close to the door. Baldi went to respond to him, though that's when he remembered the dream.
"LET GO OF ME!"
He quickly walked past the principal and into the school, not saying a word.
