❝ she's cheer captain,
and i am on the bleachers ❞
as the sun slowly peeked through the curtains, casting a soft glow upon the room, jisung and minho begun to stir from their peaceful slumber. their eyes fluttered open, greeted by the gentle morning light.
however their cuddle session was interrupted by the ringtone of minho's phone. startled, he fumbled to answer the call, his voice still laced with sleepiness.
it was hae-ri, his girlfriend, on the other end of the line.
her voice carried a mix of annoyance and forgiveness as she explained that she had reflected upon their disagreement and had chosen to forgive him.
as minho listened to hae-ri's words, a surge of gratitude and happiness washed over him.
he had feared that their relationship might be irreparably damaged, but the weight on his heart began to lift with each word of forgiveness she uttered.
glancing over at jisung, who had been listening attentively, he couldn't help but smile with a sense of relief.
realizing the significance of the moment, jisung offered minho an encouraging nod even if he didn't mean it, silently conveying his support and happiness for his best friend's restored relationship.
as the call ended, minho turned to jisung, gratitude and happiness evident in his eyes, "she forgave me, ji! i couldn't be any more happier!"
"that's great! i am so happy for you!"
no, that's not great. no, i am not happy for you, but only for your happiness..
"you should take her on a date!" jisung suggested as minho was happily pacing back and forth in his room.
"that's a great idea!" he squealed as he made his way towards jisung, engulfing him in a hug, "thanks ji!"
don't hug him back, i shouldn't hug him back, "y-you're welcome" of course he ended up returning his hug, how could he not?
"i'll see you in class bye!" minho yelled as he made his way back to his house as quick as possible to get ready for the date.
sighing, jisung plopped on his bed. i don't want to go to uni today.

as the bustling halls of the university filled with students preparing for their day of classes, jisung found himself walking side by side with his another bestfriend, felix. their footsteps echoing against the polished floors.
"aw ji, it's okay! i am sure that oblivious dumbfuck will realize that you're better for him and break up with that plastic bitch" felix comforted him as jisung had told him about the events that had unfolded this morning.
since jisung had developed deep feelings for minho and that unrequited love had been weighing heavily on his heart making him feel the need to confide in someone, jisung turned to his best friend's best friend's boyfriend basically felix, for support.
jisung felt comfortable talking to felix about his emotions, and he began sharing the details of his feelings for minho.
felix, being a caring and compassionate friend, listened attentively and provided a supportive shoulder for jisung to lean on.
"it's fine, as long as he's happy" he softly muttered making felix give him a sad smile as both of them headed for their next lecture.
they arrived at their first lecture and took their seats, ready to immerse themselves in their studies.
and after a long day of classes, jisung and felix found themselves standing on the bleachers overlooking the football field, where his friend, minho and felix's boyfriend, changbin, were practicing with their team.
the sun began its descent, spreading a warm golden glow over the field.
as they settled into their seats, jisung's eyes scanned the field, searching for minho among the sea of players.
spotting him in his football gear, his face lit up with pride and excitement. he knew how much this sport meant to him, despite the mixed feelings minho harbored towards it.
as the practice began, jisung and felix cheered from the bleachers, their voices blending with the chorus of supportive friends.
they clapped and shouted words of encouragement, making sure minho knew they were there, unwavering in their support.
jisung and felix stood on the bleachers, cheering and encouraging minho during his football practice though they were annoyed to see hae-ri, the cheerleading captain, make her way to the sidelines.
dressed in her vibrant cheerleading uniform that included a short skirt which went along with a crop-top. while jisung stood there in his oversized t-shirt, she exuded confidence and a contagious energy.
of course minho chose her over me.
hae-ri's eyes sparkled with pride as she watched minho give his all on the field. with her pom-poms in hand, she joined the other cheerleaders, ready to show her support in her own way.
as the practice progressed, hae-ri led the cheerleading squad in chants and cheers, her voice resonating across the field. the sound of their enthusiastic cheers reverberated through the air.
jisung noticed the genuine happiness that radiated through minho. it was evident that hae-ri's presence and support meant the world to him though it probably didn't matter to hae-ri since she was there to show off minho to her sidekicks anyways.
as jisung watched the affectionate exchange between minho and hae-ri on the sidelines, a tinge of sadness tinged his heart.
in the midst of supporting his friends, he couldn't help but wish for a similar connection with minho.
it was a longing that had been quietly growing within him since a long long time now, a desire for his best friend to notice him in a deeper way, to see the love and support that he had to offer.
