You manage to get a good amount of sleep and woke up at 5pm. You get up and take a quick shower then get dressed in your work clothes and do your hair and light makeup. You check the time to see its 5:35pm and go downstairs making a quick meal of instant ramen and check your phone to see a text.

Your checking on Mrs Akane when she holds your hand and looks up at you with a soft smile. She was a woman in her 80's with silver hair that was always in a traditional bun decorated with chopsticks sticking out of it in an x formation. She has wrinkles in the corners of her eyes and mouth from smiling so much over the years. Sadly she has a terminal illness and no family left and has been in your care since a couple months after you started working here and treated you like her own granddaughter to the point she demanded (in a nice way) to call her Baba. Her illness sadly can't be cured but with your quirk she can be treated so it slows the process down a bit.

"My darling Y/N. Your very smiley today" She comments with a smile.

"I made a new friend yesterday and he has asked me to join him for lunch on Saturday" you tell her.

"Oh how lovely. You deserve the happiness. Your such a sweet, kind girl, talented girl" She says to you then giggles "maybe it can progress to being more than friends"

"I doubt he would see me as that Baba" you sigh as you sit next to her ready to do her treatment "I'm just happy to have a friend that is outside of work and not just a work friend"

"So who is this friend of yours" She asks curiously.

"Promise to not tell anyone?" you question nervously.

"I promise sweetheart" Akane smiles.

"It's the pro hero Shoto" you say to her quietly.

"Oh how lovely!" She squeals happily.

"Okay Baba calm down" you chuckle "Come on. Let's start your treatment"

"Okay okay" She chuckles as she gets comfy.

"This will only be for 10 minutes" you inform her as your hands start to glow and your eyes turn white.

You flop on the couch in the break room feeling drained as you take out the bento box from your bag and a bottle of water. You open it up and start to eat the omelette when the door opens and in walks a couple of nurses who you don't get along with. So you keep quiet and to yourself.

It's 1am. Please don't start. You thought.

"Well if it isn't little miss piggy" the leader of the two Kiki says "How are you still a doctor looking like that?"

"Well at least they custom made a coat to hide her so patients and staff won't be more traumatised" the other girl Saku says laughing alongside Kiki.

"Guys please don't be children. You know how my quirk works" you sigh taking another bite of your food.

"Just proves how lame you are" Kiki chuckles as she walks over to you then picks up your lunch "You have enten enough. A diet is good for you"

She laughs with Saku as they dump it in the bin before grabbing a apple which is starting to go bad and puts infront of you.

"Eat up. The sickness from eating the mould might make you skinnier" She laughs more.

You roll your eyes and get up grabbing your bottle of water and bag and walk out the staffroom. You drink your water as you go towards a vending machine.

I would so report her ass if she wasn't so up the bosses you thought angrily.

You sigh as you buy a protein bar and sit on a chair nearby and start to eat it. You sigh as you take a sip of water enjoying the peace and quiet but that didn't last long.

"CODE BLUE! DOCTOR L/N WE HAVE A CODE BLUE! PLEASE COME TO INTENSIVE CARE IMMEDIATELY!"

Well that's my break over. Hopefully I have eaten enough you thought as you grab your stuff and run to intensive care.
