Unexpected hero (Pro hero Todoroki Shoto x Chubby FEM reader)

Chapter 2

Your a couple hours into your shift and finished checking up on Mrs Akane when you get a page come through saying Shoto was awake. You smile slightly to yourself as you head straight to his room. Once there you knock on the door and poke your head in to see him sat up and having a drink of water.

"Good evening Mr Todoroki" you say with a smile as you walk in "I'm your doctor Miss L/N.

"Oh good evening Doctor L/N" Shoto says as he looks at you "What happened?"

"Well I was on the scene already healing  when you came flying past me and crashed into a building" you say picking up his chart and looks through it "you had a concussion, head wound, fractured femur and shoulder blade and 3 broken ribs. I did what I could at the scene, on the drive here and when you entered the room. The only thing I couldn't fully do was fully heal your ribs so you need to be careful while moving"

"I see... Thank you doctor" The male nods as you walk over to him.

"Your welcome. If you don't mind I'm just going to check you over quick" you inform and he nods.

He watches in awe as your eyes change colour as you scan over his body.

"Head... Healed nicely... Shoulder...healed...ribs...minor fracture still.. Femur... Healed" you mumble before noting them all down unaware of the male watching you fascinated.

Your eyes go back to E/C and you finish writing down your notes.

"So Mr Todoroki. Everything is looking really good" you say putting down the clipboard "Now if your up for it. I should be able to heal your ribs up fully now. I just need to eat a protein bar quickly if that is fine with you? I know it's unprofessional but I just finished a couple of patients and I need it for my quirk"

"No no it's fine. Quirks are complicated so I understand" Shoto says "What exactly is your quirk and how does it work if you don't mind me asking?"

"I got a couple of quirks" you say taking a seat next to his bed as you open a protein bar "I have health scan which let's me see any damage on and in the body and the second is I use the energy from body fat to help heal the said injuries including transferring energy  hence why I'm the size I am. My body is constantly storing fat from the food I eat even though I eat healthy and am constantly on the move."

You take a bite of the protein bar and chew as Shoto looks like he is thinking.

" So it's a bit like recovery girl with using energy to heal? " Shoto questions.

"Mhm, apart from the fact my grandmother doesn't need to be fat to use it" you say with a chuckle.

"Wait? She is your grandmother?" Shoto questions.

"Yup" you respond popping the p the finishing up the protein bar "If it wasn't for her I wouldn't have gotten my doctorate"

"She is really incredible and it nice to see she passed her knowledge onto someone incredibly talented" Shoto says with a soft smile.

"Aww you flatter me" you giggle as you stand up "right. I'm ready to heal you, thanks to the pain medicine this shouldn't hurt much but I will be quick okay?"

He nods and you place your hands over his ribcage and he watches as your eyes turn white and the white glow comes out your hands. Shoto watches in amazement at how ethereal you look and let's out a small grunt as the bones heal fully. Once that's done your eyes go back to normal and your hands stop glowing white.

"How's that feeling?" you ask him.

"Alot better...thank you" Shoto says quietly.

"I'm glad to hear that" you smile "It's best to keep you here to rest till tomorrow then your free to go"

"Of course" Shoto nods.

"If you need anything just press the button" you say walking to the door "Rest well Mr Todoroki"

"Doctor L/N." Shoto says and you turn to face him "thank you for staying with me during this and healing me. Also.... Your not fat so don't put yourself down like that."

"Thank you Mr Todoroki and don't mention it. I'm just doing my job. Goodnight" you say with a soft smile as you leave his room to go see your next patient.
