Chapter 13

You whine a little as you feel someone shaking you gently and calling your name.

"Y/N... Wake up. You need to eat"

You slowly open your eyes to see Shoto softly smiling at you. You yawn a little and rub your eyes as you sit up sleepily.
Shoto watches you and let's out a chuckle at your slightly messy hair and tired look. He couldn't deny how cute you looked even like that.

"Im up. I'm up" you mumble as you lift up your arms and stretch before getting up.

You and Shoto enter the kitchen where you see the food set up on the table. You walk over and Shoto pulls out the seat and as you sit down he pushes the chair in.

"Thank you soo much Shoto this looks delicious" you say with a smile.

"Your welcome" he replies as he sits down opposite you.

You both say thank you for the food and your eyes seem to sparkle.

"Oh my god. This tastes soo good! Better than Fuyumi's in my opinion. No scratch that it's the best I have ever eaten" you tell him with a happy smile.

"T-thank you Y/N. I appreciate the compliment" he says with a small blush making you giggle "you look cute when you blush"

He looks at you with slightly wide eyes as he blushes more before quickly looking back at his bowl. You carry on eating in comfortable silence and sipping your tea. Once finished you stand up and start to collect the dishes when Shoto stops you.

"Please let me was the dishes" he says as he stands up.

"It's fine Shoto. You cooked this lovely dinner so I will do the washing" you say with a smile as you walk to the sink "so stay there and let me do this"

"Okay okay" he chuckles as he sits back down.

"Hey when was the last time you saw my grandmother?" you ask.

"Oh I have to say it was when I was 18 when she retired" Shoto responds.

"Well maybe one day you want to come visit her with me at some point this week?" you ask "I'm off all week now"

"That would be nice" he comments.

"Okay. Just let me know so I can figure out when to schedule my visit with my mother so I don't drag you to see her" you say as you wash the dishes.

"I don't mind coming with you" he shrugs "I would love to meet your mother"

"It won't return negative memories being there?" you ask concerned.

"Of course not. I will be fine" he reassures you.

"Okay. Well let me know an afternoon your available" you tell him as you finish drying the dishes and start to put them away.

"How about Wednesday? I know I'm free then" Shoto mentions.

"Sounds good" you say as you walk back over to him "It's 7pm so what do you wanna do now?"

"It's your home. So I'm okay doing what you want to" he shrugs.

"Wanna sit on the couch and watch a movie?" you ask.

"Sounds good to me" he softly smiles as you walk to the couch and sit down with Shoto as you put on a movie and wind down for the evening.
