Falling in love. That's what it was. Macau was slowly and steadily falling in love with Porchay. He didn't know when it started or how far deep he was but that's what was happening. It was a new feeling for him but he felt like he could finally begin to dream when he was with Chay. Nothing felt impossible. Nothing felt too difficult when he was with Chay. Macau couldn't help but smile down at the boy sleeping next to him. He didn't have bedsheets for the extra rooms so Chay had to sleep in his room for the night.

They'd spent a couple of hours out on the balcony talking about how much fun they could have if Macau were to move to Switzerland. It was a whole lot of wishful thinking but Macau wanted Chay to have his momentary happiness. He fell asleep leaning on Macau so the boy had to carry him up to the room. Macau had fallen asleep shortly after and was now awake. The first of the morning light had just begun to seep through the blinds casting a soft glow over Chay as he slept with his mouth slightly agape. His breathing was very soft until it halted for a second causing Macau to hold his breath. The boy rolled over onto his side letting out a soft moan before burrowing himself under the covers. Macau chuckled softly to himself before rolling out of bed. He took a shower before quietly getting dressed and leaving. He left Chay a message on his way down.

Macau: I'm going to fetch my car and get some food. See you in a bit.

He called for a taxi before walking out into the crisp morning air. There was a telltale breeze of rain in a couple of hours that made Macau smile to himself. Chay loved rainy days but not when it rained too hard. He hated storms. He liked it when it was a little more than a drizzle. It was the perfect weather according to him. Hot days were nice but he hated sweating.

Macau got his car from the bar's underground parking and made his way towards his favourite bakery. It was a bit of a hidden gem that not a lot of people knew of. The owner used to work for his father before he retired a couple of years before. Macau walked in and was immediately greeted by the scent of freshly baked bread and coffee. A tall man behind the counter looked up when he heard the bell ring. His face split into a huge smile almost immediately, "Macau! I haven't seen you in forever."

"P'Nop you literally saw me a week ago," Macau said rolling his eyes but still smiling at the man.

"Exactly, that was forever ago." the man asserted, "The usual?"

"Not today, I'll take four croissant sandwiches, two butter scones, a loaf of multigrain bread and two tall Americanos make one strong enough to knock out a horse please."

"So you want your second drink to just be espresso?"

"I don't know but yes."

Nop rolled his eyes and disappeared to make the order. He returned after a few minutes and placed a cup holder with two takeaway cups and a brown take-out bag onto the counter "That will be 1229.20." he silently watched as Macau took out his card and paid for his food "So, who are you having breakfast with today?"

"What?"

"This is very far from your usual order. You don't do savoury baked food Macau and you don't drink coffee so, who's the lucky girl...or guy?"

Macau just took his order and walked out while smiling to himself. He was five minutes away from his apartment building when his phone rang, "It's rude to leave your guests alone in your home you know," a groggy Chay scolded.

"Good morning to you too Kittisawad," Macau responded smiling.

"You don't have coffee," Chay pointed out.

"I am aware."

"Well then, sir, I will have you know that I'm not the best person to deal with before I've had my coffee."
