Kade's pov

"Listen up class". Mr. Park stated while flipping through a few papers. Kade was very thankful Mr. Park changed seats every two months. "As you know this is the day we will be switching seats. While I'm reading you the list I don't want any complaining. If you have a problem with your seated partner solve it."

Flashback to yesterday

"Class you may be dismissed". Everyone was running to the door trying to be free from the prison they had been locked in for two or more hours, well everyone except Kade who slowly walked up to his professor.

"Hey Mr. Park, tomorrow is when we switch seats right?"

"Yes"

"I was wondering if maybe I could be seated next to Amend because I've noticed he's been having trouble with some of the questions, and I would like to help him". At this point, Kade was mentally laughing. He didn't even know the kid and didn't even understand what the teacher taught. He always amazed himself at how good of a lie he could come up with.

"Hm, I'll see what I can do. It's very kind of you for wanting to help a peer". Yeah. Help.

End of flashback

Thankfully his wish from yesterday had come true.

|/\| (Jayden pov)

"Get ready to run" was all Jayden could hear before Brian and him tried to dash out of the café through the back door. Jayden asked him to meet up so they could talk about Kade, but some gang ruined it. Before they could get up someone already had a gun to a cashier's head.

"NOBODY MOVE"

"PUT THE MONEY IN THE BAG"

"HURRY UP"

There were currently three men trying to rob the café. Thankfully Brian being the smart "elder" had brought a fake police badge with him.

"How many times do I have to tell you to always bring a fake badge when you go to public places." Brian whisper screamed. They were in a booth in the back meaning the robber's "blind spot."

"I go to school if someone caught me with that I'd get arrested."

"Then don't get caught with it you oopma loompa"

"Can you shut up and save the lady."

"Fine, you come with me I'll say your my stupid partner."

"Yeah, whatever old man."

"So if you come over to my apartment we can work on the project."

"K cya." Amend said.

After the teacher told the students their new seating partners he assigned them a group project. Jayden didn't seem to like the idea of him being friends with Amend so hopefully, he wouldn't be too mad about him coming over to their apartment. I mean how else was he supposed to get the project done? He stepped out of Mr. Park's classroom. As the younger was making his way to the exit of the building he bumped into someone, and that someone was somebody he didn't want to see. You see readers you don't know anything about Kade's past so allow me to educate you. Back in Kade's high school days, he met a person. Was it love at first sight? Yes. Well, kind of. Kade had fallen hard for Rachell. Rachell couldn't care less about him. 

They became "friends" though everyone could see that it was a toxic friendship. Kade was blind to the facts. That was until Jayden came into his life. He helped him realize this. He helped him understand. They've been best bros ever since then. Jayden was like his older brother. He was an only child, and his parents weren't the best. Kade liked to think they tried, but no matter how much he lied to himself he just couldn't buy it. He just couldn't understand. So he's always been thankful to Jayden. Thankful for how Jayden comforts him. For how Jayden stays by his side. He is very thankful to have a friend like him. Sadly the person he bumped into was Rachell's new boyfriend. She is known as a player. 

Ever since high school Rachell has always said bad things about Kade. She even started a horrible rumor that made people avoid him all of high school. He didn't really mind because he didn't like talking to people anyway but it still hurt. He thought when he came to college he'd get a new chance. A new chance at life. That dream was shattered when he realized Rachelle was in his college. He hates her. She would send her new boyfriends after him. She would say horrible things to him. She even dared him to commit suicide. He thought about that every day. He thought about how he almost did. He thought about how he was thankful he didn't. He thought about how sometimes he wished he did. He knew. He's not a minor anymore. He was his responsibility, not the teachers. That's why he tried to avoid her incompetent boyfriends. It's not her he was scared of. He didn't want to get beat up. Not after what happened in high school. He remembered. He remembered how he tried to stand up for himself. He remembered how he was the one to get beat up. He remembered how he was the one to get in trouble and the other jerks got no punishment. He remembered how he almost got suspended.( its long lol)

"Oh, it's you." The guy said smiling, this caused Kade to snap out of his thoughts. Unfortunately, Kade didn't have the heart to tell Jayden about this bullying problem. He didn't want pity. He didn't want him to worry, but most importantly he didn't want their friendship to end.

AHHH LOVELIES YOU MADE IT TO THE END. IM SORRY THAT WAS A LITTLE SAD. IM LITERALLY CRYING KADE IS MY FAV CHARACTER.
