Monty was there in ten minutes scooped me up and we were off. Speeding in his sleek, cherry red car, the one my mom's trainer told her to get rid of and buy the same car in pink. So she sold it to Monty and he drives us in it now. When we arrived at the scary pink house my mom ran out to hug me.

So Emmalie how was the house. Did you decide you want to stay there? If you did we could send you stuff there tonight and you can move in tomorrow. I want to make sure you're not going to need the room I had before you decided to live away from us. All your clothes and furniture are in storage, they told me that the shipping" My mom said cheerfully and pulled me inside.

"Yeah Mom it was great. It is so beautiful." I said smiling and there was a twinkle in her eye. She looked almost proud but it was only a second.

"So what did they say the price was Emmalie?" my mom asked and I told her about the boy and how we fought until he gave up.

"I was originally going to get it for twelve but then this boy appeared." I said and my mom looked at me. She tilted her head as if she was asking a question. Though she shook it off very quickly.

She smiled and said, "Oh, what happened Emmalie?" I tried to suppress and failed, letting out a big sigh. I shrugged and combed my fingers through my hair.

"I was getting to that Mom. So as I was saying an extremely handsome boy walked in and tried to buy the house and we had a bid off. He suddenly stopped after I bid one-forty. He stopped bidding and smiled before walking away. It was weird he smiled like he knew something." I said shaking my head and rolling my eyes.

"I think he may like you." my mom said quietly as I looked at her surprised. She went and got one of her special water bottles from the kitchen. When she got back, she leaned on the wall and she slowly sipped her disgusting "diet" water.

"

Okay, let's just drop it. Anyway I saw the house and you sure got a good deal. The owners must have been crazy to start at twelve. The house is huge and the only neighbors are far away." my mom said leading me up to Sarah's room, the only one who was willing to share their room with me. I put an air mattress on the floor and slept on it until eight the next morning.

I got up, got dressed, ate breakfast and waited for my mom to wake up, hoping that she'd wake up by noon. She is the laid back kind of mom who's more kid than adult, she is up to date with modern technology and slang and wears normal teen clothes. I've had a friend who wanted to buy my mom because their mom is uptight and actually acts like an adult. Who would want to give that up?

Well it only took three alarm clocks, two mocha, cocoa lattes and a drum set in a pear tree. When she finally dragged herself out of bed she almost inhaled both the mocha, cocoa lattes before she returned to normal. She smiled sweetly at me and motioned for her pink car. I wish it wasn't pink, pink is such a cheerleader and a cheerleader wannabe's color.

We drove and my mom silently smiled while I admired the scenery. We quickly scooted in and out of the real estate giving the real estate lady, Mrs. Francine Lucy Greene, the check and drove quickly to the house.

My heart leaped at the sight now it was officially my home. I walked up the stairs and went through the white door. I have to say this house is bigger than it looks. You'd think it was like a three room, two bathroom kid of place but it isn't. It's like a seven bedroom, six bathroom kind of place and the rooms are huge.

I really don't need all these rooms. All I need is a T.V room, a reading room, a bedroom, a kitchen, and a bathroom but I have more. I have a dining room, a separate living room, five extra bathrooms, five extra bedrooms, and a screened in room that would be good for my plants.
