Not One In Eight

2. Him

Yippee the first day of school. Can't wait to have to deal with the kids who will stare and ask questions and stare, not. Maybe they have gymnastics program? Yeah they don't, I can feel it in my bones. 

But I'm still a kid so school it is. Though that dream last night was crazy. I don't know why I am so weird like that. Dreaming of people who don't exist, well the boy does but still, I am going insane. I knew it would happen to me someday. And that day is today. 

I also thought that today was going to be normal but somehow I knew it wasn't going to be.

I hate my life. I hate my life. I hate my life. 

Why must I be me? The first thing I see as I walk in is the S Seven (my sisters, as I call them on occasion) are there kissing the butts of the cheer squad. But that's okay 'cause the cheerios are doing it right back. That's what happens when you are famous. 

Sometimes I wish that I could just- 

"Oomph." I said rubbing my behind. I'd run into someone and not just anyone, her. 

"I am sooo sorry, my name is-"she started. 

"Danielle, at least I think." I said and she looked shocked. Like I'd just lifted a car off her, all I'd done was guess her name. 

"Yeah you're right." She said to me. 

"I'm Emmalie." 

"Nice to meet you."

"Well I guess I'll see you later." I said waving and walking away.

I cannot believe I did that. She is probably totally weirded out by me. I really need to tone it done next time. She seemed cool, and now she thinks I'm a total freak.

I can definitely tell you life hates me with a burning passion. I know it will strike again. I just didn't know it'd be so soon.

In Homeroom

This is the worst school in the world. I've been here five minutes and already I have a fan club. It includes but is not limited to, Jake Devin, Michael Bay, and Aaron Henry. You should feel bad for me. 

These three guys have been fawning and fighting about me since I stepped in to the classroom. They have no claim on me unless I allow it. I sure as heck know that I will never, that is right never allow- 

"Excuse me. Aren't you that girl who bid on the house, right? I'm-"he started. 

"Finnen right." I said to him and the smirk he walked over with wavered. 

"Yeah, how'd you-"he started a gain but luckily, for me at least, the bell cut him off and the teacher walked in so he had to go to his seat. 

Later on in the day and I have yet to make any real friends so I decide to sit at my fan club's table. This is the three boys plus the two totally gorgeous but still bimbos Hannah and Caitlin and Jody a sweet, pretty and smart girl who is shy but I love her.

They are basically all boring me very much but I play nice. I even make an effort to listen to Hannah and Caitlin gossip. I realize that Hannah is actually not as bad as Caitlin. Though she is still obnoxious.

So I decide to ask the great oracles of gossip, as I am calling them, about Finnen, Danielle, Reose and the mysterious David. They must know a whole lot about they because A. they seem the type to stick their noses into other people's business and B. they defiantly can't know nothing about such gorgeous people.

"Do you guys know anything about-" I started when a group of people walked in.

Everyone turned and watched them strut into the cafeteria. They were all so beautiful but it didn't affect me, with enough money anyone can. I should know, trust me. I have lived around people like that forever and I know what it looks like when people look like that. These people definitely have the look.

"See those people over there. Well they are the Blake family. Do you see the big one that has black hair with the pretty blonde, that's Sam Blake and the girl is Vanessa. You see that boy with the pixie girl and the brunette well he is Finnen and the girls are Fayette and Danielle. He is dating Danielle though. He and Fayette are just "friends", she is dating this hot drop out named Roy. Anyway there is just one person left and that is-" she started before a boy entered.

"That is David."
