"Matt!" I yelled rushing into his green jeep and sitting myself in the front seat.

"Come on." He cried and went to put his foot on the gas but he abruptly stopped.

"What wrong?"I asked extremely confused.

"Where's David and/or where are we meeting him?" he asked and I shook my head.

"Go, David stayed behind so that I could escape the vampire." I whispered. God, he had to be okay. I couldn't lose him, not now, not ever. If I lost him I'd want to cease living.

"Okay, I'll take you to the pack. Your little Vampys are there too." He said giving an amazing smile, nothing compared to my David's, but it was still amazing.

"Then let's go!"

"All right, we're trying to some up with ideas. We're all working together, you know mutual goals and stuff like that."

"Cool." He said.

He put his arm around me. It was protective but a friendly protective.

I was happy he was over me. Let's pray that some day he realizes he should be with someone. Maybe Annie, maybe not. Just as long as he finds someone. I'm just glad he's over me.

Matt's POV

Totally not over her.

Emmalie's POV

So we drove off into the sunset, but not in the romantic way.

Just in the, "that's all folks" or the ending of a movie kind of. Sadly, this is not a movie. It's not a love story. It's just a story on Wattpad and Fan fiction. Okay, not really but I wish.

David POV

I could smell her adrenaline levels, once spiked, now slowly decreasing. Thank god and all the stars in heaven she's okay. Even if she's with Matt. Look, I care about is her safety. Well maybe, I care about her and who she's with, but her safety is my first and most important priority, except for maybe her happiness.

The vampire in front of me looked about eighteen, only he could be a couple thousand years old. I growled at him menacingly but he just stood there laughing.

"What do you want?" I snarled at him. If he dared touch one hair on my Emmalie's head, if he even frightened her, there'd be hell to pay.

He laughed but it didn't sound as confident as before. It sounded almost forced, no that was my imagination.

"You know what I want," he said smiling a cruel smile. I shook my head, deep in denial.

"Her." He mouthed and I leapt toward him. But within a second he moved out of my way.

I looked up at him. A very shocked expression on my face.

"How? How did you do that, move so fast?" I asked shocked.

"I'm on a mission, little boy. I need her." I threw a punch, " My master shall not be in the happiest of news if I return without her. No ifs, ands, or buts."

"Why, what her?" I pled.

"Do you not know?" he asked curiously. That stopped my resistance for a second. Know what?

"Her identity? Do you have even an inkling of who she is?" He asked confused.

Who she is, she's my Emmalie. And a half vampire, I think. But what was this loon talking about? Sure she might be a half vamp but with what happened with Reose four years ago.

"No, good. I don't want to tell you."

"Tell me!" I growled out, barely audible.

"Ask the little princess if she remembers anything about her father?" I threw a punch in which he dodged again, " Maybe you'll understand?" he said laughing cruelly and suddenly disappeared, so much for an answer.

As long as she's okay, I'll be happy.

Samuel's POV

This job sucks. If t wasn't the only way to move up then I'd have nothing to do with it.

This might just be the object to my promotion from a errand boy to a second in command.

All I have to do is find the princess and extract her from whatever vampire or were group has her. It's obvious that'd she'd be attracted to a group such as that.

But by the smell on her I'd say vampire. I'd been stalking her for a while. I almost caught her once but that idiot stopped me.

I was right outside her mother's house watching her talk on the phone. I slowly began to run towards the house softly but she hears me.

Which is pretty shocking because the vampire didn't even hear. I rushed in but by the time I got there she was gone, only leaving his little mate behind.

"What do you want?" he snarled at me. I laughed. So young, so foolish, it was very amusing.

"You know what I want." I was thouroughly amused by this but there was also a nagging thought in my head.

"Her" I mouthed and he leapt toward me but I easily evaded the attack.

"How? How did you do that, move so fast?" he asked shocked.

"I'm on a mission, little boy. I need her." he threw a punch, " My master shall not be in the happiest of news if I return without her. No ifs, ands, or buts."

"Why, what her?" he pled. Ha, such a simpleton. Groveling on his hands and knees.

"Do you not know?" I asked curiously. That stopped his resistance for a second. How could he not know about her.

"Her identity? Do you have even an inkling of who she is?" I asked confused. How could he not know. It was plain as day. Unless he were a rouge, or a Blake. They broke off from the order a long time ago.

"No, good. I don't want to tell you."

"Tell me!" he growled out, barely audible. So vicious. It was impossible for him not to know. Then I realized who he was.

So he is a Blake. I guess Francis and Finn kept him in th dark about my master's dirty little secret.

"Ask the little princess if she remembers anything about her father?" he threw a punch in which I dodged again, " Maybe you'll understand?" If he asked who her father was she'd tell him, fruitfully unaware.

Then he'd understand. That the girl he was protecting was no ordinary girl. Nor an ordinary halfblood.

She's the daughter of the king of not only the vamps, but all those in our world. Even the humans.
