So today is just great, lunch and now having to go deal with two boys who just happened to be from a family of vampires. And said vampires thought that I was one of them. Which wasn't good because I wasn't one of them.

But I had to go, I'd already blown them off once. It'd be totally rude to do it a second time. Plus it was Finnen I had a problem with, not David. He wasn't the one I was angry at and he was real sweet and nice. I really don't want to lose him as a friend.

So I trekked up to their house, which no surprise to anyone, was less than a mile away from their house. So finally I had arrived at their house, and I was surprised. Were all the houses in this town this big, I mean their house, my house, my family's house, all huge. Though their house was bigger than mine, not that it was like hat much bigger but it looked like it had a few more rooms.

I quickly knocked on the door and not even a second after I had a smiling young looking woman opened the door. She was Maya, the one who yelled out vampire when I had seen them in the field. There, she had looked vicious but here she looked sweet, very motherly, the very opposite of vicious.

"Hello I am Maya, David and Finnen's mother. I am so glad to finally meet you. Both boys have been raving about you. I mean I have been wanting to come and bring you cookies, just to welcome you to our town. I wish I could have gotten one of the kids to show you around." Maya said warmly, she is defiantly the domestic kind of women. So unlike my mom, the cheer coach.

"I actually lived here until I was three I moved away to California-" I started when I heard a high pitch squeal. There was Fayette and she had the biggest grin ever on her face. She skipped/ran over and bear hugged me.

"Oh my god!!!!!! You are the middle Hart!! You are Emmalie Hart, it is such an honor to-" she started when a guy who looked twenty-something walked over and pried her off me.

He gave her a look." Fay-Fay, what did we tell you about personal space?" I was guessing this guy is Roy, her boyfriend. He seemed to love her a whole lot and she seemed to adore him. Of course that wasn't the only reason I knew, he was impeccably dressed, yup, defiantly him.

"Not to violate that of others. Blah, blah, blah." She said in a mocking tone.

He looked at me." So you are one of the cheerleaders she obsesses about. You are different than I thought you'd be." For a high school dropout, he had amazing grammar.

"Emmalie!?" yelled Finn as he bounded over and scooped me up. I was shocked at his strength, I mean I'm not fat but I'm no Skinny Minnie.

"Um hi?" I said a little weirded out.

"We thought that you wouldn't come. Especially David, don't tell him I told you but he thinks you hate him." He said with a sigh. Yeah, it was David I hated, totally not you.

"Well I'm here, so what's up." I asked trying and succeeding to sound nonchalant. Finn smiled softly, man he was good. If I was a normal girl I'd totally fall to his feet. But because I am not, I know he is one amazing actor.

"We have something to tell you so come on and take a seat in the living room." He said pulling me along, around the house to the very back. There sat the whole family, arranged in mostly pairs except for David who sat alone. So I decided to take a seat on a couch that faced everyone.

"Hey, I'm Sam, just if you didn't already know. Nice to meet you Emmalie." Sam said.

"I'm Vanessa." Said the pretty blonde with him.

"I'm Roy as you have probably already guessed."

"Hi, the name is Reose, it's the Irish spelling."

"You mean R. E. O. S. E." I said and she beamed and nodded to me.

"I'm Mayas I already said and that is my husband Francis." Maya pointed to a young looking blonde man. Probably a few years older than Roy.

"I think you know the rest but anyway Emmalie, we have something we feel we need to tell you." Francis said and I could tell he was the family peacemaker. A smooth and calm voice, listening face, he was defiantly patriarch material.

"You see Emmalie-"said Maya with a smile on her face but David interrupted her.

We are vampires.

"Without blinking, I smiled and laughed which made them give me a weird look. They didn't know that I already knew but I did. I gave a sweet smile and shook my head. "I know." I said and they stared at me with a mixture of confusion and awe.

"But-But how." Maya stuttered.

"I seem to recall being called a vampire."

So I explained the situation. Leaving a little bit out such as hating Finn and totally eavesdropping, I told them everything. From the pink dresses which made everyone laugh to taking a walk to the wig. But they were still puzzled by something, my agility and speed.

Only Fayette understood why. "Well, I mean I know you guys don't understand but here is the thing, being a cheerleader is hard."

"Sure it is." Sam snorted and I glared at him.

"Since my sisters were one-year-old girls they have trained at least twelve hours a day five days a week and eighteen hours a day on the weekends. I mean I haven't done that in a while, especially since I never needed it but I do a lot of training. Plus I have had to travel around the world since I was two to fulfill my Mom's fantasies of what she wanted to do when she was young. Be glad you were never a cheerleader." I said and he slunk back. I was using my scary leader presence.

"Okay but that doesn't explain how you did all that agility stuff." Sam said and I smiled.

So I decided to show them. Doing a triple back spring into a back flip and easily into a frontal split, all with ease. They stared open mouth and wide eyes, all except Fayette of course. She just stood up and did a girly clap and jumped up and down. She beamed and walked over to me and gave me a quick hug.

"I knew you were good. I mean stereotypical cheerleaders give hard working ones like you." She said and I smiled. It was true.

"My sisters are, and really hate to say this but, they are hard workers. They devoted their life to cheerleader and it is their first priority." I said honestly and it was true. All of it.

"But they definitely don't have your talent or grace." Fayette said happily from Roy's lap.

"Or your beauty." Vanessa said and gave me a soft smile which seemed to unnerve everyone but I knew she wasn't lying. I could see that.

"Thanks." I said but then I thought of something.

"So, just wonder this but why'd you tell me?" I asked finally not as caught up in the moment as I had been. I mean really, why me?

"Emmalie dear, you are very special to both Finn and David, plus-"Maya started and Danni gave a dirty look as Fayette jumped up. She ran over and did a dainty but hard hug.

When she had finally stopped hugging me she looked right into my eyes. All I knew looking into her amber eyes of dancing flames was that she was excited. Also that I was scared.

"Emmalie, you see-" Finn started but David put his hand up and interrupted him.

Emmalie, Fayette see things. Some are maybes but once in a while there is a sure thing. Fayette says that she sees you-.

But of course Fayette interrupted him. "I see you as part of the family." She said beaming.

"Welcome to the family spider girl, or should I call you monkey girl?" Sam said and I stared.
