Goal 6: Pain

The whistle blew three times and Team Z then crowded Isagi for his last shot. Team Z won at the score of 1-3. "Hell yeah, Isagi!!"

Ueyama watched how they all flocked at Isagi before rolling his eyes. He was suddenly dragged by Bachira who wanted to celebrate the win with everyone. That aside, his eyes looked for a certain poofy mushroom head to see him down. Well, he doesn't have anything nice to say so he'll shut up for once.

"Ue-chan!" He heard his name being called. "I like how you're very risky at times, good thing I am someone who can pick up at your sudden calls." Bachira posed that got him rolling his eyes. "Yeah, yeah. I'm grateful, Sunshine." His eyes looked at Isagi who was making his way towards Niko. "Ah, looks like his head is getting bigger."

"Ue-chan."

"Yeah?"

"Why are you calling me Sunshine?"

And it all crashed down to Ueyama. The memories, those painful days had started to come back to him. Why now? He had started to like soccer again, was that why? Oh wait, he had been calling Bachira the same name as he used to call his late girlfriend. He didn't even notice. Was it the way his eyes looked? His mannerisms? The energy? No, it was the way he dribbled the ball.

His late girlfriend always liked to dance. Whenever it was just him and her, she'd play a song for them to dance on. Oh how he wished he had the chance to put the song in loop so that they would dance to no end.

His headache started to reach his brain. He held his head as pain lingered. "Ue-chan, what's wrong? Does your head hurt? Hey, Ue-chan.." Bachira reached out to the man in pain. Ueyama smacked his hand away, his teeth gritting and hands shaking.

"Leave me alone." The words hurted Bachira. He raised both of his hands up in defense before letting Ueyama walk away, ignoring the pain. It should be nothing new to him, being pushed away because he was just being himself. He knew somebody weird like him should've seen this coming but it hurt a lot when he was pushed away after getting comfortable. Since it's Ueyama, the one whom he dreamed of playing with him to no end, it brought his mood down.

He wasn't one to ruin everybody's mood so he kept his happy face and went with the others.

Chigiri saw their interaction and raised a brow when Ueyama walked away from him. He'd usually see them together but with Ueyama giving in to whatever Bachira's going to pull on him. He saw how he smacked his hand away in sheer avoidance, what could be the problem this time?

"Let us toast for Team Z's victory in this second game. Cheers!" Kuon raised his own cup of juice to celebrate the match they won. The sweat, the brain-racking and running was all worth it due to Isagi's last shot. "Cheers!"

All of their forks dug into the steak's tender texture then brought it up to their mouths to eat. "I missed you meat!" .

"So, this is the heavenly taste of victory!"

They all continued to howl at how worth it their play was. Gagamaru and Naruhaya fought again after he ate a lot more meat that Gagamaru had to stop him. Kuon came in with another small table that had food. "Alright, we're doing this potluck style. We'll get to have a bite at everyone's dishes, so no fighting."

"What are you, a lunch lady?" Raichi muttered.

Kunigami munched on his food and looked around him, noticing they were short of people. "Mm, where's Ueyama and Chigiri?"

"Probably on their period, forget about them." Raichi clicked his tongue in annoyance. He was finally at peace without those two but someone just had to look for them.
