Goal 18: Monster Friend

It's not like Ueyama wanted to but he wants to watch Rin practice. Trust me, he doesn't even want to be in the same space with him but he needs to, for his sanity. Rin continued to practice his shots. As much as Ueyama wanted to pinpoint it as 'ugly ass shot', he had to admit that his curve shots had a very nice curve that it captures his attention.

These two had agreed that they can observe each other's practices. Rin saw through Ueyama's motives and he wanted to do the same, thus leading to their situation right now. It is Ueyama's turn to practice and Rin as an observer. Ueyama kicked the ball up vertically to fall down straight to him and did his signature 'sniper shot'.

"Tch, is the roundhouse trick necessary? You looked like you're showing off." Rin commented that earned a tick mark from the brunet.

"Yeah, it's to caught them off guard and it helps me reach the ball than anyone could. Plus, I AM showing off." Ueyama grinned at Rin. This time, it's Rin's turn to have a tick mark. "You can also hit from any distance right?" Rin changed the topic as he crossed his arms.

"Yes, but I try to make them accurate as possible. My Sniper shot helps me to make it accurate. So, I don't have a point where my shots are 100% guaranteed to make goals." Ueyama said as he rolled the ball under the sole of his foot. "Say, you also have quite impressive spacial awareness if I do say so myself."

This made Rin raise a brow. "It's like you also see the whole court like me." Ueyama looked down on mint eyes. "I know how human eye works, trash." Rin spat, Ueyama raised a brow at him, knowingly. "Tsk, sorry."

"Any thoughts about Isagi?" Ueyama sat down infront of Rin. "Isagi...?"

"Dude, the one we last fought. The annoying blueberry." The brunet rolled his eyes. "Oh, him. That defected eye guy. What about him?"

"Just so you know, that guy, evolves rapidly overtime. He has the same incredible spacial awareness as us. Just want to tell you in advance, so the one we should be aware the most is him." Ueyama discussed. "As far as I know, he doesn't have a unique skill but with Nagi with him, or probably some other people he would bring in his team– he'd be the one manipulating their skills. If he knows how to play his cards right, I suggest we keep our eye on him."

".. Noted, but I doubt he's evolved that much within a short amount of time. He lacks on tons of aspect. If he can figure it all out within that timespan, congratulations I guess. But even if he did figured it all out, I am more efficient than him." Rin shrugged. Ueyama did the same, "Alright then. So, he's out of your radar."

"He never was to begin with. There wasn't one of them that excites me the most, even Bob-cut." The emerald head huffed in disappointment. "Bob-cut is an average joe." The mention of a certain Sunshine catched his attention. "He only has dribbling skill and that's about it. He does half-baked plays and can't even play alone." Mint eyes rolled upwards. "Plus he only plays by the feels as if he relies on instinct alone. Only through constant training of our subroutines can make it an instinct." As much as Ueyama hated this topic, but he knew Rin was right.

"Reckless, half-baked plays are performance only average joes would do. Bob-cut fits the description." Rin clicked his tongue before standing up and picked the ball up with his foot. "Makes me wonder why that Long ass hair even picked him."

"Hey."

Rin looked at Ueyama unamused. "Oh right, I forgot. You're his boyfriend." He rolled his eyes. Ueyama looked like he wanted to strangle Rin once again for saying all of those things.
