2. Start over

Jorge's POV
Oh. I didn't know that she used to get bullied. It's not like i wanted to upset her. It was just a joke. I feel like such a jerk now. I shouldn't have said it. She must hate me now.

Diego: hello, earth to Jorge (he said waving his hands in front of my face)

Jorge: huh, what?

Diego: Lodo just stormed out to look for that new girl.

Jorge: man, i feel like such a jerk honestly. Usually i wouldn't care but Lodo likes this girl. I gotta go apologise. You coming?

Diego: i have class right now so i can't, but i'll do it later yeah?

Jorge: ok, i'm gonna look for her. See ya.

I ran out in the hallway to be greeted by a crowd of girls fixing their hair and shouting flirtatious comments at me. Sometimes i have to say, it is pretty cool, but other times, it just gets fucking annoying. Like this for example.

Jorge: Excuse me (i said trying to get past) scuse (i tried again) MOVE YOUR ASSES OUT OF MY WAY!!

Woah, i lost it a little there. But it worked. I ran to then end of the hallway but i could only see the janitors closet there. I carefully pushed the door open to be greeted by a small girl sobbing. Oh wait! That is Martina!! I closed the door gently behind me and went to sit next to her.

Jorge: Martina.

Tini: um, yeah (she said half sobbing)

Jorge: i'm sorry for what happened earlier. I didn't know that you used to get bullied before or anything. Sorry.

Tini: um, it's ok. I just have a bit of a rough past that i was trying to forget when me and my dad moved here. But it doesn't matter.

Jorge: you and your dad? What about your mom?

Tini: uh-um, well, an incident took place so now she isn't here with us anymore.

Jorge: oh, i'm sorry. I didn't know.

Tini: it's ok. You didn't know. So, (she wiped her tears) i should probably get to class. Do you know where Lodo is? We have the same timetable.

Jorge: no i don't know where she is, but wait, did you say you have the same timetable as her?

Tini: yeah why?

Jorge: because me, Rugge and Diego have that same timetable too!

Tini: oh, that's cool! So, Lodo said that she had known you and Ruggero for a while now. When did Diego come into your group?

Jorge: oh Diego. He just hung out with me at first because he was on the basketball team with me in high school. Then i introduced him to Rugge and it turned out we all got into the same college so we all became friends.

Tini: ooh, that's cute.

Jorge: cute? (I raised my eyebrow)

Tini: yeah, cute. That you guys have all been friends for so long. I wish i had friends like that.

She covered her mouth. Then she looked down as if she was ashamed.

Jorge: what do you mean?

Tini: oh well, since i've already told you most of it i may as well tell you the rest. When i was in high school i never had any proper friends. I had a boyfriend once but he doesn't really count.

Jorge: how come he doesn't count?

Tini: um, it doesn't matter. I'm sorry it's not that i don't trust you, it's just that we literally just met and i have never really told anyone about my past because i'm trying to forget it. Sorry.

Jorge: it's ok. I'm not going to pressure you into talking about it if you don't feel comfortable about whatever happened. And anyway, me, Rugge, Diego and Lodo can be your friends now. How about it?

Tini: Thanks Jorge. I really appreciate it, but can i ask you one favour?

Jorge: sure.

Tini: i know that when people find out that other people have been bullied, they start to pity them and stuff. Please don't pity me. I just want a new start and to forget about everything that happened.

Jorge: sure, don't worry about it. Friends right?

I held out my hand for her to shake. "Friends" she replied as she shook my hand. We stood up and walked out of the janitors closet. Luckily no one else was there otherwise they would have given Tini dirty looks. Trust me. I know what these college girls are like.

Jorge: oh shit! We need to get to class.

Tini: oh fuck.

We ran to class together and made it just on time. Phew that was close. We sat near Lodo, Rugge and Diego.
I'm glad me and Tini got to start over m. She seems like a really nice girl. Plus she's not like those other slutty girls around here. Her and Lodo make a good pair.

---- TIMESKIP END OF DAY----

Tini POV
This day was pretty hectic for my first day. I'm so glad i have friends. Rugge us so cute and sweet, he is completely different to Jorge and Diego. They're just troublemakers. They played a prank on our english teacher today, let's just say it ended up with that teacher resigning and them nearly getting suspended. Speaking of Jorge. He was so sweet today. I never thought that he would apologise to me. It meant a lot actually. That for once in my life someone felt bad for the pain they had caused me. Another thing with Jorge. I felt like i told him more than he should have known. Urgh. Why did i have to mention HIM. I hope Jorge doesn't ask about it because i still haven't gotten over what happened and i'm not ready to talk about what happened. I haven't even told my dad parts of it because i don't want to face it. I can't. It's to painful.
On the bright side, Lodo made me go to my dad and ask him about the student accommodations. And guess what? HE AGREED! We were jumping for joy. Now me and Lodo get to share dorms. It's gonna be so fun!

Lodo: So my dearest friend, how about we unpack?!? (She squealed)

When we were tired and done unpacking. Lodo suggested that we go out for dinner with Jorge, Rugge and Diego. So, we did.

Jorge: c'mon please, i can't be arsed to walk.

Ruggero: aw, wittle Jorge doesn't feel wike to walllkkk. (He said in a baby voice)

Jorge: No. Jorge doesn't want to walk. (He stated seriously)

Ruggero: too bad. Come one, we're gonna be late back otherwise.

Jorge: fine.

We walked up the dodgy street, with Jorge, Rugge and Diego in front of us. Many of the drunk men on the street were giving me and Lodo pervy comments but luckily Jorge was giving them a piece of his mind. Lodo and him are like brothers. It's a cute friendship. I hope i have a friendship like that one day. Overall, my first day at college was pretty amazing. Me and Jorge got off on the wrong foot at first, but i'm glad we got to start over.
