Surrounded. That's what they were. The Armored titan stood up, prepping to climb the wall of all things but Erwin ordered that no one engage him and to keep a safe distance. Meanwhile he studied the titans who'd appeared inside Wall Maria. That's when Erwin noticed another titan.
"There's another intelligent titan." He says to Levi, Charlie and Armin who were all stood nearby. "It's that quadruped type titan with the cargo on it's back. Though... there may well be others."
"If we're counting on the Colossal being nearby, there's at least four of them." Charlie pointed out, eyes set on the terrifying figure that was the Beast Titan. The monster then let out a roar and slammed it's fist into the ground and several small titans took off towards the town on the inside of Wall Maria. Where all the cadets and horses were.
There's a loud bang from behind and the wall shook ever slightly. "Sir? What's now?" Armin asked. "The armored titan is almost to the top. Bertholdt hasn't shown yet, but he must be nearby!"
"Yes. I'm well aware." Erwin nods before he stands up taller.
"Finally ready to say something, Erwin?" Levi asked. "Been waiting so long, I could've made breakfast."
Erwin turned to his soldiers. "Dirk Squad, and Marlene Squad, too! Join Klaus Squad and protect the horses at the gate!" And then he turned to the others. "Levi Squad and Hange Squad, I need you to take down the Armored titan. Deploy the Thunder Spears at your own discretion. Do whatever it takes to obtain your objective! This is our moment! Our chance to strike! The fate of humankind depends on this battle! Lay down your hearts and lives! One final time-- for humanity!"
"YES SIR!"
And soldiers deployed on all sides.
"Hold on, you three." Erwin address the three members of the Levi squad, Levi included. "Hange can lead both Squads. I need you two Ackermans here."
"So you want us to protect the horses instead of Eren?" Levi asked, not impressed at all by this new idea.
"That's right." Erwin confirmed. "And when the chance arises, the two of you will strike him down." Erwin pointed his blade at the hairy beast who glared from off in the distance. "You two are the only ones I can trust to dispatch the Beast Titan."
Levi paused before nodding. "Understood, sir."
"I wasn't fast enough to kill the Armored earlier. Guess I'll have to make up for that failure." Charlie decided, staring out at the Beast.
