the girl the world hated.
𝐀𝐑𝐌𝐈𝐍 𝐀𝐑𝐋𝐄𝐑𝐓
the boy who never ran.
❝ He wasn't expecting Levi's amused huff and dry, "Just tell me this isn't going to be a problem."
"What is going to be a problem?" Armin a...
"Stop provoking her," Armin warned, turning a glare on his brunet best friend. His moron of a best friend. "I can't always save you."
"I'm not provoking her. It's a compliment. And even if I was provoking, it's not like she can kill me. She's not allowed to. And hence forth, I can't help but be temped to mess with her." Eren bragged as he held up the potato he'd shaved.
When Armin rolled his eyes and turned away, Eren leaned over to Connie and Sasha to whisper, "And I'll be damned if she doesn't like him. Watch." Eren then looked at Armin raised his voice to a loud and panicked level. "Oh my God, Armin, are you bleeding?"
Charlie's head snapped up. Less than five seconds later, she had effectively completely ignored Hange- who was yelling after her- and she had crossed the room to a rather confused-looking Armin, his hand frozen halfway between himself and the food on the table.
"I'm fine," Armin said adamantly as soon as Charlie got him and was visually searched him for injuries. Armin turned a glare on Eren even as Charlie circled him. "What did I just say?"
"I can't help it." Eren's green eyes sparkled bright with mischief as he watched Charlie. "It's just so much fun. It's like playing with a windup toy."
"Until the toy comes to live and kills you," Connie murmured loud enough for everyone to hear and Sasha nodded along with that comment.
Charlie stared at Eren with displeasure scrawled all over her face. As small as she was, her features were so sharp it was a little unnerving, like seeing a carefully sculpted angry statue come to life. Charlie didn't have to speak for Eren to know that her scowl was a warning for him not to do it again. It didn't matter, they both knew he would and that Charlie would fall for it.
