The Dark Lord soared through the air effortlessly, moving as if walking on solid ground, witnessing the atrocities committed by the invaders.

"I guess I should have come out earlier; I can see how cruel they are," he muttered to himself.

Everywhere he looked, a sea of blood-red greeted him. Villages were ablaze, women clung to their loved ones in tears, and men were subjected to merciless cruelty.

"These guys are not just killing, but they are torturing them," the Dark Lord thought with a grim expression.

"Let's go to the place where someone cried out for my help first."

Whatever Dark Lord had seen, it just took a blink of an eye and without a moment's delay, he surged forward, increasing his speed exponentially. His speed was so extraordinary that even the speed of light would feel inadequate in comparison.

Meanwhile, in a certain world, The bald man looked at the husband and wife with a perplexed gaze and inquired," Who is this dark lord? He looks formidable, yet it seems everyone has forgotten about him and he shows no inclination to save anyone too."

Hesitant, the woman replied, "No one knows who he is or where he came from. One day, the sky collapsed, and the Dark Lord emerged from it. That's all I know."

"But what I'm certain of is that he has never committed evil deeds like you wicked individuals. The gods branded him as evil, and we foolishly believed them," she added.

The bald man looked at the sky and thought of something "To collapse the sky of the universe... Is it possible to breach the protection layer of the universe? Impossible! He must have had a companion of this universe to aid him in his entry."

In every universe, a protective layer is shielded against the entry of non-native beings. If breaching it was easy, wouldn't countless universes have faced attacks already? The only way for non-native beings to enter in any universe was with the help of a native.

As a native entered their own universe, the protection layer would create a momentary gap, providing an opportunity for others to follow.

Thinking of all these, The bald man sneered at the couple before him, "He could be a worthy opponent, but alas, he is a coward who can't even show himself before us."

"Now that you're done with crying, you can die in peace."

The bald man stretched out his right hand, and a sword appeared in his grasp. He held the sword ready to make a big hole in the man's stomach before delivering the final strike.

However, just as he was about to strike, suddenly, he felt a hand resting on his shoulder.

"Well, maybe I am a coward?" a voice stated.

When the bald man heard it he felt his scalp went numb.

"Someone was standing behind me, and I didn't even feel anything?" Fear gripped his heart.

How could anyone approach him without his awareness, except for his leader, who possessed the ability to do so?

Turning his face towards the source of the voice, he saw an eerie figure in a black dress standing before him.

Simultaneously, Luise flew over, witnessing the unexpected turn of events from afar.

To her astonishment, the bald man, originally prepared to fight the Dark Lord, knelt down and said, "Gr-Great Sword Lord, this servant greets you."

The Dark Lord regarded him with cold eyes and delivered a quiet statement that resounded throughout the universe, "Didn't I say that if I ever find out again that this army is using their power to abuse the weak, then this army has no reason to exist?"
