Chapter 8: Goal

In the secret underground room of the palace...

This secret underground room was a place that was forbidden to all, be it the high-ranking palace members or the heads of the mightiest clans.

It was a big room without any special decoration and was filled with rare items which couldn't be found in the whole universe. On a table before the Dark Lord, there lay a collection of rare ores and spiritual fruits. Each of these items held a great power and significance which the Dark Lord had gathered from years of exploration of different universes. The room was filled with an air of mystique as the Dark Lord continued his experiment.

Despite dedicating an entire year to his experiments with unwavering determination, the Dark 

Lord was still unable to create the ultimate body that transcended all things in existence. Feeling a mixture of frustration and determination, he decided to take a break and went to meet Luise.

When the Dark Lord looked at Luise, he noticed that her stomach was as flat as ever. However, he knew that this was to be expected. In the mortal world, a human child is usually born within nine months. For immortals, their offspring typically take a year or two to be born. But for children with exceptional potential, it takes much longer. Some may take three years, while others might take five. Given the extraordinary lineage of the Dark Lord, it was only natural that his child would not be born so easily or quickly.

In the sanctity of his mother's womb, the child needs to be nourished by the pure spiritual energy that flowed within her body.

After being completely nourished and filled with the energy of the universe, it will be time for him to be born.

Dark Lord held Luise closely, feeling a mix of pride and concern for both his wife and their unborn child. He knew that Luise had dedicated herself to the cultivation for the entire year but no matter how much she cultivated and provided spiritual essence for their unborn child, he seemed to possess an insatiable appetite for it, absorbing it all like a black hole devouring everything in its path.

Because of this, her own cultivation growth relatively stagnated.

Typically, a mother would naturally provide a small portion of her spiritual energy to her child in the womb, and the child would continuously be nourished by it over the year. This natural process contributes to the child's development and lays the foundation for their future potential. However, in this case, her son's exceptional absorption of spiritual energy acted like a celestial vortex, absorbing everything in its vicinity, leaving little for her own cultivation.

Despite the challenges, Luise embraced her role as a mother with unwavering dedication.

Thinking of this, the Dark Lord placed his hand on Luise's stomach, his warm gaze locking with hers. He leaned in and placed a gentle kiss on her forehead, a gesture filled with love and anticipation. "Our child will not be an ordinary child," he said, his voice filled with pride and excitement.

Luise also chuckled affectionately "No one can understand it more than me, hehe"

The Dark Lord smiled at Luise's words and began to nourish the child within Luise's womb with his spiritual energy. He channeled his power into their unborn son, knowing that every ounce of energy he imparted would only add to the tremendous potential the child already possessed.

As he poured his energy into their son, the child once again transformed into a bottomless pit, absorbing all of the Dark Lord's energy non-stop.

Luise watched with amazement as the child began to become more stronger as he absorbed all of his father's energy.
