IT'S TIME TO MAKE A PLAN TO STEAL THE WAND.

THE SOONER WE GET OUT OF HERE, THE BETTER.

You and the others were in Jay and Carlos's room. With its wide-screen TV, wood-paneled walls, dark plaid curtains, and high ceiling, their room exuded a luxurious mix of old wealth and cutting-edge technology, embodying the essence of Auradon. You didn't feel envious since you had never found joy in technology or beautiful things.

You were a killer, and that was all.

But after arriving at the Isle of the Lost, something changed. You no longer killed anyone since you were hatched by a creature you had never seen before. You didn't remember anything about your parents; you only placed the warmth and sensation of shells beneath your claws.

"Jay," Mal's voice brought you back to reality, and you looked over at the purple-haired girl and the handsome thief. "What are you doing?"

"It's called stealing," Jay replied, tossing the fries onto his bed, joining the assortment of other items he had already stolen from the school. The collection included gold rings, tokens, coin purses, a watch, and a half-eaten pizza.

You wrinkled your nose. You never stole, even though your name meant "unforgiving thief" or something. You could have been more eager to find out.

"Well, Jay, it's not worth stealing. We're going to rule this world. You can steal later," you said, your voice firm. Mal nodded at you with a smile while Jay sighed and straightened up.

Mal clapped and pointed at Carlos, who brought out a laptop. "We need to find out where the wand is," she said. You glanced at Evie, who held up her mother's small mirror. "Mirror, mirror, on the... in my hand. Where is Fairy Godmother's wand... stand?" she rhymed.

In the mirror, an extreme close-up of the sparkling wand appeared.

"There it is!" exclaimed Evie.

"Zoom out," Carlos requested.

"Magic Mirror, not so close," Evie whispered to the mirror.

In response, the mirror showed a map of Earth.

"Closer," Evie said.

The mirror zoomed in, revealing the state.

"Even closer," she insisted.

The mirror showed the town.

"Closer," she repeated once more.

"Can I go back to my game? I'm on level three," Carlos interjected.

"Stop!" Jay exclaimed.

You squinted your narrowed yellow eyes, closely examining the display. "It's in a museum," you said. "Do we know where that is?" Carlos turned the laptop around, showing you the screen. "Two point three miles from here," he said. You smiled and patted him on the shoulder. "Good job. Let's go." You and the others quickly put on your jackets and rushed out, but you paused as you sensed Carlos's nervousness still lingering in the room. Letting out a sigh, you called him back. "Carlos!" The footsteps on the wooden floor indicated that he heard you and was coming after you.

You all ran together, catching up with the rest of the group.

The school grounds were dark as you made your way to the museum. "Check your mirror," Mal whispered to Evie.

"Is my mascara smudged?" Evie asked, inspecting her eyes in the mirror.
