HOW CUTE—YEAH, SO I THINK I'M OFFICIALLY GOING TO BE SICK.

The limo stopped, and you saw a crowd of people outside, all clad in the official colors of Auradon, blue and yellow. A low growl rumbled in your throat, but you kept your composure. Jay and Carlos were the first to exit the vehicle, tumbling and playfully wrestling over a blanket. You followed after them, taking in the curious stares of the onlookers. Nudging the boys, you made them stop their playful antics and stand straight.
Jay smiled at the audience and quipped, "Just cleaning up." He helped Carlos to his feet. A woman with brown hair tied back in a loose bun, wearing pearl earrings and a lavender dress with a pink bow at the neck, approached you. Politely, you smiled at her before she turned her attention to Jay and Carlos. "Leave it as you found it!" She grinned. "And by that, I mean just leave it." She gave Jay a pointed look.
Biting your lip to stifle your laughter, you observed the exchange. Jay noticed your amusement and narrowed his eyes but complied, setting down the blanket and other items he had pilfered. Then, Jay saw a pretty student with caramel-colored skin and chocolate-brown hair. She wore a blue sweater, a pink dress, and a gleaming gold necklace. He strolled up to her smiling and introduced himself as "Jay."
The girl laughed, but her laughter soon stopped when the woman, Fairy Godmother, intervened, positioning herself between Jay and the student. "Welcome to Auradon Prep," she announced.
Jay's smile faded, and a realization dawned on him.
"I'm Fairy Godmother. Headmistress," she clarified.
Jay's disappointment was evident, and Evie stepped forward, playfully responding, "The Fairy Godmother? As in 'Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo'?" She mimicked a wand-waving motion.
"Bibbidi-Bobbidi-you-know-it!" Fairy Godmother replied cheerfully.
As the surprise faded, you began to notice the forced lightness in Mal's tone when she interacted with the Fairy Godmother. It was clear she wasn't as excited as she pretended to be. For you, being unfamiliar with human lore, Fairy Godmother's presence didn't hold the same significance.
"Yeah, I always wondered what it felt like for Cinderella when you just... appeared out of nowhere! With that sparkling wand and warm smile... and that sparkling wand," Mal said, flashing a cheesy smile.
Your eyes filled with disdain at Mal's deception, and you crossed your arms, remaining silent. "That was a long time ago," Fairy Godmother replied. "And as I always say, don't focus on the past, or you'll miss the future!" She smiled. "Wherever you wind up!"
Then, a handsome young man stepped forward, clasping his hands together. He wore a navy suit jacket adorned with the Auradon Prep crest, a handkerchief peeking out of the breast pocket, and a pastel plaid tie. "I'm Ben," he introduced himself. A slight tilt of your head indicated your interest, but your amber eyes slit when the girl at the prince's arm spoke.
"Prince Benjamin," the girl named Audrey exclaimed. "Soon to be king!" she squealed.
"You had me at 'prince,'" Evie remarked, stepping forward and locking eyes with Ben. "My mom's a queen, which makes me a princess." She began to bow.
"The Evil Queen has no royal status here," Audrey retorted, "and neither do you."
Ben shot Audrey a look, silently telling her to calm down. "This is Audrey," he explained, taking her hand. "Princess Audrey. his girlfriend. Right, Bennyboo?" Audrey smiled and tucked her chin.
Ben let out a short laugh, but before any further exchange, a hiss escaped your lips, causing the couple to look in your direction. The girl tilted her head, questioning, "Who might you be?" You raised your chin, meeting her gaze. "Y/n L/N, the Indoraptors' daughter," you announced, your fangs glinting.
Ben and Audrey exchanged glances, the girl taken aback by your intimidating presence. With a smirk playing on your lips, you relished in her fear. "Ben and Audrey are going to show you all around," Fairy Godmother intervened, breaking the awkward silence among the group. "And I'll see you all tomorrow. 'The doors of wisdom are never shut!' But the library hours are from eight to eleven, and as you may have heard, I have a little thing about curfews." She smiled, then turned away, walking toward a building with the marching band following in her footsteps.
Ben, however, shook Audrey off his arm and began shaking hands with your friends. "It is so, so good to meet you all finally," he expressed warmly. Jay playfully punched him, and Ben shook hands with Mal, Carlos, and Evie. When he looked into Mal's eyes with intense sincerity, she held his hand for too long. Audrey pulled Ben away.
Ben then approached you, shaking your hand and giving you a soft smile. You arched an eyebrow, nudging them along, and quipped, "Or the day you showed two people where the bathrooms are." Laughter erupted from your friends.
Ben's gaze lingered on you longer than necessary, but Audrey noticed, speaking through a smile, "You know, your father didn't have to kill at least twenty people in that mansion." As you fixated your gaze on Audrey, your eyes turned cold, dangerously cold. Mal and the others stiffened, realizing Audrey had crossed a line.
Ben furrowed his brows, sensing the tension. "It's good that you know him, Princess," you responded after a while, your tone calm and icy. "My father was never there to tell me about the prissiness of the human world, but I'm sure you would've tasted good." A flash of your fangs accompanied your words, and Audrey whimpered, looking down.
A smirk adorned your lips as you turned to Ben, your pupils dilating. "Show us around, would you?" you said, clearly saying that you expected him to comply.
