Y/n's heart pounded fiercely in her chest as she stealthily advanced toward the grand cathedral, her movements as silent as a whisper of wind. The thrill of what lay ahead stirred excitement and dread within her. She could feel the anticipation building, her sharp claws instinctively tensing for the moment that was about to unfold.
Her scaled, (s/c)-colored skin seemed to merge with the shadows as she prowled through the labyrinthine hallways, her sinewy form blending effortlessly into the darkness. Finally, she found herself standing in the cathedral's majestic great hall, where the intoxicating aroma of countless people tantalized her senses. A low, guttural snarl rumbled from her throat as she waited, coiled like a predator ready to strike.
Y/n's piercing red eyes fixated on Mal, standing near Ben's position with other friends on the distant balcony. The allure of her longing for the prince momentarily surfaced, but she forcefully pushed those feelings aside, aware that her monstrous nature could never allow such human emotions.
The tension in the room reached its peak as the doors swung open, and Ben, regal yet burdened, walked in with an air of solemnity. Y/n's predatory instincts surged, and her tongue grazed over her pointed teeth in eager anticipation. The veil of goodness was about to be torn, unveiling the darkness she craved.
As the Fairy Godmother conducted her ceremonial words, Y/n's muscles tightened, and her tail swayed noiselessly across the floor, its quills making the faintest of sounds. Just as the moment seemed destined to unfold as planned, a sudden upheaval shattered the air. The wand, torn from the Fairy Godmother's grasp, unleashed a violent storm of sparks and lightning, rupturing the magical barrier that sealed off the Isle of the Lost. Chaos ensued, and Y/n watched in a mix of awe and anxiety.
To her surprise, it wasn't Mal but Jane who wielded the wand. The beast inside Y/n growled in frustration, and she couldn't contain her mounting anger. She hissed silently, her claws and gog marks digging into the floor, unseen by the disoriented crowd.
Amid the panic and confusion, Y/n's monstrous form was finally revealed to the shocked attendees. She was immense, her wiry muscles taut beneath her scales, and her dripping jaws exuded an aura of ferocity. Her crimson eyes met Mal's, conveying a sense of recognition and an eerie sense of déjà vu.
The commotion subsided slightly when Mal bravely interposed between the indoraptor and her friends. Y/n's true self fought to regain control, and in a deep, raspy voice, she seemed to reach out from within the monstrous exterior, longing to reconnect with her friends.
"It's Y/N!" Carlos cried out, and the realization spread among the group. But Y/n, the indoraptor, struggled to maintain her sense of self. She lashed out against the staff with a mighty swipe, magical energy sizzling in the air.
The momentary glimpse of recognition faded, and malevolence again dominated as Y/n lunged toward Mal. Her monstrous form circled the VKs, snapping her jaws, determined to keep them enclosed. Mal's pleas seemed futile, as the beast's identity seemed lost in the depths of her transformation.
Suddenly, a swirling green smoke materialized, and the unmistakable figure of Maleficent emerged, her malevolent laughter echoing ominously. The sight of her former nemesis triggered anger in the indoraptor, and she faced Maleficent head-on.
Their confrontation was fierce, with spells and roars echoing through the grand hall. Y/n, lost between her monstrous self and true identity, was torn, locked in a battle with her inner demons as the clash between good and evil unfolded in a spectacle of raw power.
"You should have stayed on Ilse," the Indoraptor girl growled, her powerful form poised for action. With lightning reflexes, she lunged forward, aiming to strike Maleficent, but the wicked sorceress was equally swift. She loudly yelled and slammed her staff with wicked force into the raptor's head, causing Y/n to cry out in pain as she crashed to the ground with a heavy thud. Maleficent taunted the fallen creature, mocking her size compared to her father.
As the Indoraptor groaned and struggled to regain her footing, she appeared defeated, her head hanging low in apparent submission. Maleficent, grinning triumphantly, turned her attention to her daughter and their friends. The atmosphere was tense, frozen in anticipation of what would happen next.
When Mal refused to surrender the wand to the elf, anger surged through Maleficent. But as the fairy godmother stepped forward to perform a chant, Maleficent halted her with a chilling command. Time stood still for everyone except Mal, Evie, Jay, Carlos, and Y/n. The raptor lay on her side, her tail and claws limp, unable to move.
Despite the worried and heartbroken look, Mal sent her way, Y/n couldn't bring herself to meet her friend's gaze. Her pain and vulnerability were evident as she remained motionless on the ground. The confrontation had taken its toll physically and emotionally, leaving the indoraptor in temporary defeat.
As tension reached its boiling point, Maleficent's fury knew no bounds, and with a thunderous snap, she transformed into a formidable dragon. Her enormous wings unfurled, casting an intimidating shadow in the grand cathedral. Mal and her friends let out startled yelps as the dragon lunged at Jay, but in a surprising twist, it was Y/n who fearlessly intervened. With incredible strength and speed, the once-downed Indoraptor now stood tall, her body resolute and larger than before, her eyes glowing a fiery red.
"Who are you?" the dragon girl roared in a language only Y/n could comprehend. "I am Y/n, and I will not back down!" she snarled back, determination evident in every word.
The dragon girl lashed out, attempting to strike Y/n, but the indomitable Indoraptor was ready. With lightning-fast reflexes, she caught the dragon's talons in a vice-like grip, her jaws clamping down with relentless force. The sound of scales and bones cracking filled the air as Y/n's powerful bite proved unmatched. The dragon let out a furious hiss, struggling futilely against the unyielding grip of the indoraptor's jaws.
As the dragon's struggle intensified, a sudden cloud of green smoke engulfed Maleficent, obscuring her presence. When the haze dissipated, the wicked sorceress was nowhere to be seen; a small lizard stood in her place, seemingly harmless and unassuming.
Y/n's fierce display of strength and determination had defeated the mighty dragon, reducing Maleficent to a vulnerable form, at least for the moment. The cathedral echoed with the aftermath of this intense confrontation as Y/n stood tall, her eyes still glowing with an undeniable fierceness, ready for whatever challenges might come her way.
Y/n lowered her head, displaying a rare tenderness, and gently nudged the transformed lizard, acknowledging the defeated Maleficent. Then, she turned to face Mal and her friends, who rushed over to her with a mix of relief and concern on their faces. As her form returned to its usual size, they all stood before her, united again.
"Y/n, I know you're still in there," Mal said in her emotion-filled voice. Y/n blinked, her intense red eyes softening as she shook her head slightly. "I am not needed here anymore," she replied, sounding distant and conflicted.
But her friends refused to accept that. Mal's eyes welled up with tears as she pleaded, "Please, we need you." The rest of their group echoed Mal's sentiments, each wearing a pleading expression, desperate for their friend's return.
Y/n sighed, feeling the weight of their emotions and their bond. At that moment, the indoraptor transformed into her true self, Y/n, standing tall and proud. A warm smile spread across her face as she opened her arms, welcoming her friends unconditionally.
Without hesitation, her friends rushed into her embrace, wrapping their arms around her in a tight, heartfelt hug. It was a reunion filled with emotions, joy, and relief as they finally reunited after what felt like an eternity apart.
