Lash's POV
I head out of my room, and i see my comm is full of messages. Oh geez- i smile and i reply to them all, heading out into the main room as i finish replying.
"What's all the interest in your comm?" Uraraka asks me.
"Replying to my home. They finally replyed, so i'm letting them know i'm ok and safe."
She nods with a smile. I grab a simple toast breakfast, my quills being partially golden. How the heck do i calm this? It's getting annoying, i mean all the healing i'm doing is slowing the progress down, but i could feel powers from my superform awakening. After i finish i go to deku's room and i knock.
He opens the door and i come in.
"Alright, let's get this overwith and see the damage, i did what i could for your mentor, now for you, so you can fight at full."
Deku sighs and sits down, pulling up his sleves and i gasp at Deku's arms.
"That explains why Ingenium reccomended i help you. Here we go." I place my hands on his arms and i pour all my excess energy in as i utter the words.
"Chaos Heal!" The golden energy floods from me and into the heftily damaged arms. His ligiments were in horrific shape. Mine own weren't great cause of constant running, but they heal to be even stronger every time i go farther. His couldn't heal like mine, i heal and strengthen them, pulling a miniscule piece of my superspeed and implanting it deep into him so his ligiments would be able to keep up with damage in the future."there we go. I did a bit extra, restrengthening your joints with raw Chaos Energy, just try not to break through them too quickly. The excess energy i trapped in your body won't be used by you, and will heal you bit by bit until you no longer have to worry about it."
" wait really?" I nod,"something i learned from my brother, storing energy in a healing body." Deku smiles and i stand as i hear my comm ringing, i bring it up. Erric.
Answering i say."hey brother-"
"My gAll your AcTuAllY alIve!" His glitch was showing, telling me his worry as i put it on holoscreen and i sit down." I'm all good, thanks to the boy in the room with me. He heard my SOS and gathered his whole class of heroes to save me."
"Really? I'm suprised, he doesn't look like much, but i know you don't lie."
"Considering he's a budding superhero, he's a strong kid. But as you can see, 2 arms, 2 legs, 2 fast feet, what's Robotnik been up to?"
"Rallying his robots, he's constructing something big, but Comic and rouge can't dig deep enough to learn anything about it. Anything of mention from that world?"
"Actually, yeah. Deku, pull one of my quills where he can see, he needs to see the spreading issue."
Deku nods, saying a quick "ok" and he does so, Error gasping at the golden tipped quill.
"What? What's happening?"
I shrug."i wish i knew, the only thing keeping this down is constantly healing or using energy somehow. Somehow these kids are bleeding off Chaos Energy. I don't get it either."
Erric nods,"i'll talk to comic and get back to you on that, see you soon sis." His glitch has finally calmed, making his voice normal as i nod and he hangs up.
I sigh, smiling to Deku as i pull myself to my feet.
"He always like that?"
"Like what?"
"So strict."
"He is when he's worried. Erric's sure there's something coming soon. Esspecially since we failed to capture him."
"Why are you so dead set on catching this guy?"
I pull off my comm.
"Computer. Pull up files on the Fallen Hero's database."
Two files pull up.
"3 years ago, we lost our first person. Her name was SkyKnight. A kind and brave wolf mobian. We lost her in a battle with a villain who could manipulate humans with her voice. Turns out she was hired by Robotnik to cause chaos while he pretended to be a goody goody. I tried to save her..... and all i got was nearly killed myself in the Void."
He nods as he reads it over."the second one is alot more recent."
"6 months ago. He died in a battle that had Robotnik working with another villain from another world. He was stabbed through the chest. Medical staff tried to save him. But he died on the table while they tried." Deku sighs and nods.
"Makes sense now. Your extremely motivated cause you have to be." I nod.
"I've always had this desire to help. I didn't always have my quirk as you know. But a short bit before i got it-i tried to save Bakugo even without a quirk. I couldn't stop myself." I smile."sounds alot like myself." He chuckles as he stands.
"I think Kacchan's cooking today. You'll love his cooking, i know it." He walks out and i follow.
Sure enough, the smells coming from the kitchen are heavenly. I swear if i was in a cartoon i would by floating toward the smells like one. I felt deku grab my hoodie, and i realize that i was in fact floating, and well past half transformed. I laugh sheepishly and he yells down.
"Hey Yayarozu? Is it possible that i can get something heavy to help me bring Lash here down to earth?"
She nods and out of a blur of pink and other colors i see a couple of bracelets, and she tosses them to Deku, who puts them on me and the sudden weight pulls me down, but i could feel it siphoning off my excess energy as well as Deku catches me.
"What did you put in those? I see her quills turning back to blue."
"A mild battery that'll be charged by her energy, i'll make more empty batteries like it so she can keep her energy levels stable until we can find the cause of the overload."
I nod,"thanks Creati. Stroke of genius with the ability to store some of my excess energy into something. Maybe i can turn the batteries into other crazy cool gadgets." She smiles and nods.
"Part of my job. Besides, those weights will keep you from flying if you don't want to. You can pull them off before you begin running so you don't drive yourself into the ground." I nod.
"Either way, you've given me some breathing room. Not much i can do but thank you these days."
Deku chuckles as food comes out and i try some, a explosion of flavor in my mouth as i start chowing down.
"There's more then enough if you need seconds Spikeball."
"Thabks Bakugo. You're a really good cook." (Typo is intentional, talking with a mouth full lol)
This place was definitely one of the cooler worlds i've been to.
