Power Of Secrets

As our small group walk through the cold blizzard I can see everyone getting tired from the cold as we managed to spot a small village before we enter one of the homes. "Is everyone ok?" I asked as we start the fire to give us some warmth as I start looking around the house and find a door to what I'm guessing to be the cellar but it was locked so I walk away from it to check the rest of the house before finding a book most likely from the owner of this house.

"What does it say?" Venom asked me as I looked over the book to find any information about this village. "I seems to be about the owner of this house and the leader of this village but not much else" I tell him as I was about to enter a room most likely a bedroom but before I could open the door I hear Weiss scream making me rush over to her and soon see a pair of corpses laying in a bed. After getting Weiss away from them me and Qrow go to check the other houses and in every house it was the same families died but what was strange was that they all seem to have died in their sleep before we return to the others.

"Venom have you noticed anything about this place?" I asked as Venom tells me he noticed the village was quiet but other than that nothing. I stand in the hall looking at everyone staying near the fire to get warm before I take a chair and sat near the window watching for any Grimm but after seeing everyone was asleep I get Qrow to cover me which he does but I go to the back yard and do a little training with my secret weapon.

After a couple hour the blizzard stops but everyone including myself all seem tired as if the will move forward had been sucked out of us but I managed to snap out of it only to see the relic fall down a well. "Shit the relic" I say as Ruby also snaps out of it and panics before she makes everyone go down to find the relic but I could feel my strength slowly slip away again but push through it. We soon find the relic but this leads us to a horde of Grimm which we had never seen before but they quickly spot us and I jump forward eady to fight them off only for them to screech sapping away our strength.

"It's no good we need to run" Blake tells us as we all start running but every turn only leads to more Grimm which leads us to even more and before long we were all under the well where the relic had fell as the Grimm slowly got closer. "All of you climb I'll hold them off" I tell them as I run down the tunnel to meet them head on as they slowly move towards me but the moment they are in range I slice them to pieces with a sword made from Venom. "I believe this weapon will suit our needs" Venom tells me as I smile before rusing into the horde and cut them down but once they start using their ability I knew I was in trouble as both me and Venom were feeling it's effects but I remain on my feet.

"No we can't fall here the other.....need us" I say as Venom also gets his strength back and we hold the line before hearing Ruby shout us to move it which we do but as we reach the exit I feel my strength fade with every screech those Grimm make but just as I thought I was done Ruby and Weiss jump down and help me up as we ride away from the village which we would come to know as the sleeping village thanks to a book Maria found in one of the houses. "So those Apathy suck your will away until you just die scary to think something like that exists" Oscar said as we were all beginning to feel normal again before we manged to get a signal which gave us a call from Jaune but while everyone looks at the town near us I stood by a tree to speak with Venom.

"We should tell them about your secret" Venom tells me but I could only look at them with my one good eye since I lost my other one when I battled Carnage the first time. "No for now lets just get them to Atlas as my ability still needs some work if we are going to battle Salem and Carnage" I told Venom who understood and respected my decision but even so I couldn't help but wonder how they will react to my secret but I know it's the only way we have any hope of defeating Salem now that Carnage is teamed up with her.
