After we met up with Jaune and the others we told them about what we found out about Salem and this made Jaune lose it but I quickly stop him as he was lost in anger. "So Salem can't die then how are we supposed to stop her?" Nora asked but none of us has an answer but I had my own plan but I still need a little more time to perfect it or everything I wish to protect will be lost so I keep quiet for now.

"All we can do is keep this safe because if Salem gets her hands on it we all lose" I tell them but I hated as I wanted nothing to do with Ozpin's war which had no way for victory as Jaune and his team head to their rooms while I sat outside looking out at the town. *I need to get better or they all die* I thought to myself as I remember what I was fighting for and just what it was I want to protect as I look at the building behind me seeing team RWBY through the window talking to each other like back at Beacon. "I can feel your troubled but remember we are stronger together than we are divided" Venom told me as I smile knowing he always has my back but I also know things have to change for both of us.

"Venom would you ever go back to your own universe?" I asked wanting to know if he had any feelings about going home. "My place is where ever my host is but I need to ask why you wanted to know?" Venom says as he I look down at my reflection in the water.

"Because I think it's best when we finally face Salem you return to your own home" I tell him as I soon feel him place a formed hand on my shoulder. "My home is here by your side if your plan is to live then I will live with you and if your plan is die then I will die as well for we are one" Venom told me as I smile at the fact I had a friend even if it was an alien from another universe. I was about to head back inside when my danger sense goes off and when I look I see Rex standing over the other side of the river looking at me with an evil smirk on his face so I use my super strength to jump over and get face to face.

"I got to say your quick to action but then again we are brothers with monsters inside us" Rex says as I have Venom coat my fists ready to fight should he start something here. "I'm nothing like you I don't kill for some crazy bitch who is trying to take over the world" I tell him showing my anger and he could only smile as he stops leaning and I see Carnage cover his arms.

"Lets see who really is the best out of us brother because I am far stronger and faster than you could ever be" Rex says as I swing but he steps back as I quick run at him with a knee to the jaw knocking him into some crates which shatter on impact but this does nothing to him. "Was that your best because I've had worse" Rex says as he extends his arms forcing me to jump and grab a street light before shooting a black web at him which I soon pull him closer with as I punch him into the ground but as I look closer I see him turn into black mist and soon reassemble behind me.

"Seems you have a new trick" I say as Rex seems to smile at the fact of his new ability which was no doubt given to him by Salem. "It was a gift granted to me by Salem as a loyal servant and you could have the same if you agree to join her" Rex tells me as I run at him but he dodged as I soon see him morph his arm into a blade which he slashed across my chest drawing a small amount of blood.

"Look around brother these fools have no clue at what is coming but we do and you could survive and all you have to do is bring her the Relic" Rex tells me as I look at team RWBY who all seem happy to be together and I knew that was all that matters as I turn back to Rex. "Tell Salem I'm coming for her ass so she better be ready because I'm not backing down" I tell him as Rex seems disappointed but also seems happy as he begins to walk away but I knew to start a fight here would only end in innocent people losing their lives so for now I'll let him go. "We will meet him again and when we do it will be his last" Venom told me before we head back to the others and act like nothing happened only to enjoy the time we have together but I knew this wouldn't last.

Next Day

We all leave for the only Atlas transport left and once we arrive I look out at Jaune saying goodbye to his sister and her wife before boarding the airship. "Hey I know the world is fucked but we can all find a way to defeat her so lets do this together as a team" I say as I put my fist out and everyone seems to cheer up just a little.

"As a team" Ruby said as she does the same soon followed by Weiss, Yang, Blake as we look at the others. "Yeah a team" Jaune said as he, Nora and Ren join us as we look at Oscar and see him wonder what to do. "I'm not that great at fight but I want to learn so I can do my part so if you'll let me I'll join you in this fight" Oscar says as I nod before he put joined us and we make a vow to finish this war no matter the cost as we fly towards Atlas.
