Rise Of Destruction

After returning home we soon found ourselves in Vacuo and from the looks of it Ruby's plan worked as all of Mantle and Atlas were there but as look I knew things would only get worse since Salem would be coming for the Relic before a voice caught our ears. "HEY GUYS" the voice shouts as we look back only to see Nora running with Ren towards us but they seem a little older before she jumps us and hugs us as she cries tears of joy that we were alive.

"So new look?" I asked but Nora looked at me before she told us the truth which shocks us to the core. "Guys you have been missing for 2 years" Nora tells us and I couldn't believe that the small amount of time we spent in The Ever After added up to 2 years here. "Ren what happened while we were gone?" I asked him as they begin leading us through the city explaining what has happened and it seems Salem's forces have only grown stronger as we are soon taken to the leader of the army which was Winter with Qrow and Oscar who were all surprised to see us.

"Weiss" Winter said as she was quick to pull her sister into a hug which I found warming as Qrow does the same to Ruby and Yang while Blake and Jaune talk with Oscar. *They seem happy* Venom tells me as I sneak away to give them time alone but for me just being able to make this world safe for them will always be my goal as I look out at the desert that surrounds Vacuo wondering just what Salem has planned.

"Venom this war will be unlike anything we have ever faced before which is why I believe you should prepare for your next host" I tell him and Venom agrees as I was soon joined by team RWBY as we watch the sun set on this day. "No matter what Salem brings as long as we stand together she will never win" Ruby said as I see the smiles on their faces before heading back inside where we were given our own place to rest and recover our strength but while the others slept I stay awake before seeing Oscar walking down the stairs.

"Oscar I need to talk with Ozpin" I tell him and he quest as much so he quickly switched with Ozpin as we start talking about my theory and it seems Ozpin found it a chance worth taking. "So do you think we have a chance?" I asked Ozpin who thought about it before giving his answer. "This plan is very risky as it means we would need to bring a relic to Salem but it also has a greater chance of success but tell me are you really willing to make the trade needed for this plan to succeed?" Ozpin asked me as I nod before we start walking out of the house and begin heading to a secret location which only Ozpin knew of which was also the hiding place of the final maiden.

"Be very sure of your choice mr L/n" Ozpin said to me as I nod and we enter but the person I saw I never expected to see for the final maiden was Glynda Goodwitch whi seems surprised to see me here. "Ozpin why is he here?" Glynda asked Ozpin who explains my plan and she had a look of surprise and refused to help with my as she put it reckless plan.

"Mrs Goodwitch I no you don't like it but please hear me out the relic of destruction might be our only chance of winning this war but to do that we need you to open the door to it please" I tell her as she looked at me unsure if my plan would work but in the end she gives in and agrees to help us. After we leave me, Glynda and Ozpin head for the vault to retrieve the relic of destruction but I could tell Glynda didn't want to do this but the risks of my plan were nothing to the chance of finally ending Salem once and for all. "Once inside be prepared for difficult trial ahead" Ozpin told me as we arrive at the vault as Glynda walks forward and begins opening the vault for me but inside it was nothing just an empty void but I knew things wouldnot be easy as I step inside and walk towards the sword which was the relic of destruction.

"Once we take it the real fight will start" Venom tells me as I nod before taking hold of the sword and the moment I did visions of the future flash through my mind with the end result being me standing by Salem as the world burns. Seeing this I open my eyes and begin panting as I pull away from the sword but I also knew that I needed to get the relic in order to defeat Salem but if the future came to pass then would it all be for nothing in the end but I shake these thoughts away as I pull the sword free and watch it glow in my hands.

"With this I can protect them and everyone I hold close to my heart" I tell myself before walking out the vault carrying the sword in my hand as Glynda and Ozpin saw the look in my eyes it was the look of someone who wants destruction. "I hope your faith in this plan of his was correct Ozpin" Glynda says as Ozpin was also hoping that he hadn't just unleashed something worse than Salem but only time will tell if this action was a blessing or a curse.
